From what I can tell, every day you burn all your "rest" and you regain HP based on some factors.  No rest, no gain, or only very light gain.  If you spend some time resting, you can restore quite a bit of HP overnight.

My party is "IPC Advance Squad A".

Can we overthrow NPC kings/mayors?

Yep, although swapping the king involves something odd like a player vote instead of killing the old mayor/winning a town election.

I'm working on it.  Currently working on a decent garrison, so I can raise up some soldiers and have some slight financial backing.

The town of Threetroll has been one of my recent favorites, at 47,33 where I've been floundering about doing quests and whatnot.  Been having trouble lately though, even with a single level 11 character, a group of 9 wyverns will flee from you, so quests are nearly impossible to complete normally...  I've been diving some dungeons, but have similar problems.  I need harder dungeons!

And my Bow.

I know of 2 dungeons: a level 1 @27,17 and a level 2 @35,14

I tried to play chess but two of my opponents were playing competitive checkers as a third person walked in with Game of Thrones in hand confused cause they thought this was the book club.

I have a feeling the bottom left of the map probably hasn't been touched in a while. In thousands of turns it has always been  sort of fringe. More newbs means better borders as border tracking quests can lead to much gold for better equipment. You can often find dungeons on the way too! Just visit all prosp towns for a trail starter, their problems are generally bigger.

Kingdoms used to have quests like these available as monarchs eventually can eventually get max turns without voting, I was king of 3 towns and I had hundreds of thousands in my treasury after 2 weeks. The key to bigger kingdoms is other players to adequately protect their towns for taxings and donations. The previous monarchs would eventually just level parties and RP dungeons. If you like dungeon-ing in your spare moments it is an awesome hobby.

But yeah many kingdom sectors are covered by the influence of 1 high prosperity town. Jump on chat and just put in some high prosperity towns and coordinates until it catches on. Once they do it habitually too you can all get the most out of your game. You'll need to inform them of the chat though in kingdom boards or something. Put quick historical graffitis to tell what happened in towns or mention conflicts. The more interesting you make the game the more interested they'll be and hopefully for you as well.

I'm paragraphing! @_@ The Fk.

Also: Hire newbs to lower character levels or get Tactician up on someone pronto, it stacks across the party so every taking one of some a second of it could fix that problem. Tide you over until you can find out where the good monsters are by chat rants about dying.

Hm, have you considered murder?  It's either that or letting it go.

Is mercantile a thing? Can I buy resources like bricks and stuff and sell them in another town for profit?

So, I'm jumping in here. Is there any specific B12 group or code or anything I should be aware of before I start?

Edit: Party is Copiae Arcem, if that makes a difference. I have done nothing that could be called optimisation. I don't even know how the classes work, but that is an intentional opposite to my normal habit of learning everything about a game before opening it. Losing is fun!

Someone just nearly died to seven weasels. Doin' it right.

No.  Well sort of.  There's quests for "find a gold nugget, sell it in this town, and we'll pay you" but they're measly.  Like, buy a gem for 100, resell it for 30, get a quest turn in for 250 - that's like 200 or whatever profit, which is nice but not nearly enough to do much with.  You're better off running kill quests as you get the quest rewards and the kill drops, and the exp.  When you get to level 10 (or can get a single character to 10) you can build structures, then put the clay and wood and stuff to use building a market, which brings in gold daily!

So, I decided to rejoin the game with the party Scions of Mountainhome  :D

Currently based in Hagglade at [74,40] which is a prosperity 33 town with an average Blacksmith and an upcoming majoral election where only NPCs are running. If we want to establish a Bay 12 power base (again) I suppose I could move before long. Or I guess that Hagglade and Threetroll isn't that far apart. Can you build roads now? I remember that was being discussed but as far as I can tell it's still not an option.
