And so set out the band of adventurers. Malakai, an Elven Wizard, Triel, an Elven Archer, Urist, a Dwarf Warrior, Davion, a Human Warrior, and Wrungbeerd, a Dwarven Priest.

Then they were ambushed and died.
the end.

(Okay, fine, only the crappy wizard died. Then I did quests, got to level 2, was a badass, then my dwarven cleric died due to a f**king wisp. I recruited a human cleric, then in a fight against ORC GRUNTS the bastard dies. Luckily I still make it to the dungeon, where I dodge monsters, and get epic loot! And then run out of turns!?)

Very fun game!

So... tried this out for a day or so...  yea... 1 of each class +1 mage.  Struggling here...  cause its expensive reviving dead folk... and why is my squishy cleric in the front line?  The cleric dies most often.

Does dex determine dodge and hit rate?  Cause my rogue is like... untouchable compared to the others and still gets good hits in melee after I ran out of ammo.

I wish Staberinde would stop resisting so much. They should give up and embrace Dwarven supremacy. Anyway, I got rid of another kingdom (Braak). Their kingdom was already doomed, so I was doing them a favor.  :P

Kingdom of Oddity
Kingdom of Braak
Kingdom of Staberinde

You can move characters to the back row. Drag and drop them below the line on the side of the screen. Dex is for ranged attacks and def.

Clarification: Defense against just only ranged?  Or defense as in all defense?

Cause the rogue is in the front lines, everyone else but the rogue takes damage.  Even my warrior just died.  (That is hurting me for gold most since the warrior is the other half of my 'lets kill things' while the 3 squishy folk flail wildly or 'defend'.)

EDIT: Alright, after paying attention to the stats a bit more, Dex = dodge.  I'm gonna reroll.

EDIT 2: Much better survival all around for everyone.  Huzzah to Dex.  I also started in the Kingdom of Dvergar.. up in the far north with those 2 connected shanties you call towns.
Plus, the server went down or something. crashed and rolled me back.

I'm having a protracted war with Pelarn myself, luckily he's putting his own hard-earned gold into the town he takes from me and I'm pulling it out, so it's all good for me, free gold and xp :)

Dexterity is dodge yeah.

That's why my Clubs' was nigh invincible, having about 80 dodge rating at level ten or something.

I finally took all of Staberinde's towns and almost all their land. :D

Kingdom of Oddity
Kingdom of Braak
Kingdom of Staberinde

And I nearly killed Stogg's (Staberinde's leader) party while he was offline. He only has 3 party members left. Sadly, I can't attack him anymore. If anyone is in Dvergar territory you can try to finish him off. His party is at 54, 13 on a mountain near Deafpall.

I'm having a protracted war with Pelarn myself, luckily he's putting his own hard-earned gold into the town he takes from me and I'm pulling it out, so it's all good for me, free gold and xp :)

Tuonela is now trying to destroy my kingdom. I guess they knew they were next.

I started a party to check it out, "Redball Stonebash" is at L3 so far.  Is there a prosperous town near 74,40?  I'm gonna start travelling after next Newday.

To use the sage you need to know the town name right?   But yea I see now, I got bored and wandered around some anyway, finding yet more sucky towns :p  But FINALLY one with a dungeon nearby...

Honestly, havn't used the sage, so wouldn't know.

Also, I move that we boycott the city of Carnglade.  Its asking for 450 gold for me to get in... or 56 turns.  I'd raid it, but I can't.

That's odd, I was sure I changed the bullshit prices Pelarn instated when I conquered it...

Since Edosul Nilun is going to fall before long I just wanted to let any still active players in it know that Mountainhome is still up and running and will welcome our dwarven brothers of the south into our kingdom if they're interested.
