The Whimsical Band, blades for hire, declaring their allegiance to the Kingdom of Twelve Bays and reporting in for duty!

...Also, my fearsome warrior leader (Emmun Actionnestle) just got slain by a ferret.

My all-dwarf party is now level 5. I brought a couple of mages and they seem to be somewhat useful, so far. I think I'll start heading south.

so ... is it possible to go with fewer characters to gain more exp?
going to play this once i'm back from work ...
now that i think about it i write that last line a LOT lately.

Yeah, you can leave your guys at inns.

Edit: I attacked another party and the game bugged out.

So, what's the word on the dwarf kingdom? I'd like to help out if possible.

As for mages, once they have a few levels under their belt, and some proper armor, give them a halberd in the back row. Mine has actually done some pretty decent damage.

I am in waxchannel doing quests, is that near where we wanna start up our kingdom? I figure if I'm down here anyway and there are a few quests I can do, I may as well get started.

Agree, plus that's about the LAST thing *I* want to see from this kind of game - author spending valuable development time on useless graphics.

Early on sewers are basically your only option. If your sewer is empty of rats just try back in an hour or so.

Til level 2, rats and such are needed. Once you're level 2 you can travel to a nearby town if you're very, very careful and buy armor. With even basic armor, you become so much more powerful. :)

Just hope there is armour in your starting town. I had to travel to a neighbouring one to buy mine.

Aye, I avoided every single mob using the 'scout' feature when i first started. Once I had crappy 2-def leather armor, it already changed my world. 5-def chainmail made me untouchable to what I could take at the time. Now, I have full-plate at a base 18-def with 5 extra defense blacksmith'd on. :)

Yeah move slowly and carefully between towns to start with and expect the occasional death of the weaker members to begin with.  And if you have limited armour I would recomend the spellcasters get the good stuff first.  Which is rich from someone who's mage still sports leather armour and a head scarf I grant you...

REMEMBER, your members can be resurrected, do NOT BURY THEM!

The price for selling them will almost always exceed the cost of resurrecting them. You can double check before hand, to make certain, but burying is a waste.
