Bah, time to start raising nothing but AGI for the next tennish levels. At any rate, do we want to oppose the Kingdom of Time? Or are we only going after free cities? Mound Wilds looks like a really pretty place, but it seems to be held by a garrison belonging to a significant Kingdom of Time person.

Hmm, I was talking to the Kingdom of Time leader, he seems cool. We could possibly team up with them to take out the Reds and Tans. For now, don't touch Kingdom of Time lands. Plenty of free land without us needing to make enemies so early.

to the south there's a free city called "deathable".
i'd conquer that to begin with. and not because i'm near there...but because of the name. U_U

“Well,” he said. “We’re in the Forgotten hunting grounds I take it. Your screams just woke them up early. Congratulations, Lyara.”
“Do something!” she whispered, trying to keep her sight on all of them at once.
Basileus clapped his hands once. The Forgotten took a step forward, attracted by the sound.
“There, I did something. I clapped. I like clapping,” he said. -The Investigator And The Case Of The Missing Brain.

Why? The name is fucking horrible, badly spelled, and lacking in proper capitalization. We need to conquer low-prosperity towns in particular as they're easier to conquer. Once we've got the kingdom up, we'll conquer stronger towns.

lol...

I just accepted a quest to raid a town for money, thinking it would just be sneaking in grabbing some cash and leaving without really causing any harm. I mean, it's just another quest right?

Went in the raid, fought my way through a bunch of guards to a room with 3 chests, and I get jumped by the mayor. I fight him and win. I loot the chests, complete the quest, go to leave - the citizens are all "You killed the mayor!" and I get the option to take over the town, but I have to leave a char there to do so. Not really wanting to leave a character behind, I decline.

I think I may have just murdered some player's mayor. :D I also ruined my rep with the town so much that they won't let me back in. I guess my merry band of adventurers are turning into a merry band of killers.

On the bright side, loot! The chests had around 1500 gold between the three of them and the equipment from the raid sold for another 1000, and the quest reward was another 1162. Plus I got 130 xp for each party member for the quest and a whole bunch from the guards. And it didn't take that many turns, just a few moving around - most of it was from combat.

Oooo I just found 2 sets of full plate mail, one of them has a +1 movement bonus, I think I might be putting the movement speed above other important features but who cares.

That city wasn't in the south, was it? That probably wrecked the place's prosperity...

There's also a place named Carpabbey somewhere. Very df-name.

WHAT? You gave up mayorship? Open access to all good and services? Leadership of your own town? NNNNNNNOOOOOOOO-

Hmm.

Did it pick which character could be mayor? I could see myself recruiting characters meant specifically to bring on raids only to become mayor. :P

Might as well ask this here: anyone knows what potions of diffusion and clarity do?

Diffusion counters negative effects.

I'm currently with two Level 10 and a Level 9, I believe, characters, and my party level is 7, due to some newbies I recruited. They're 4,5,6 or so.

200xp says I take over Firenympth :D. NPC-controlled and on the edge of the world. I shall start my kingdom here... STRIKE THE EARTH!

Currently out of turns. My voting says I last voted 23 hours ago, so waiting on that. :(

Holy smokes, my mage killed 2 zombies in 1 turn, in 1 attack...  She is off the chain now.  I should really give the sling to an archer but with her getting kills her XP gain will be higher so I dunno.

Replace those slings with bows asap, slings have a bug where they have an unshown negative factor penalty, aka negative/lower-than-shown accuracy.

Besides, bow are so much stronger. :P
