Ive been watching the map the last hr or so and seeing you all over the place thinking holy crap! I thought maybe you got yourself a Dragon to fly around the map or somewhat....
No, I was testing the password control with random data entry. Everything seems fixed now, but you need the new plug-in i finished just a second ago. It pops up a warning if you haven't changed the default settings now. I fixed it so people using the old plugin will still be able to use it, until they set a personal password (then you'd have to update). It skips the security check if you have the default password selected. But it will of course be better if other people can't change your party's details.
Help ._.
I don't use Firefox. I use Comodo Icedragon (which is like firefox but assumedly better--it works better thus far anyway!).
How to use your scriptyscript? :o

Also I find buying and holding onto gems pretty nice. It's like an investment which makes people like you in other towns. :P

Now that I think about it, wouldn't we need some "independent" guys to do dirty work for our kingdom? I mean, some of us acting without allegiance to the kingdom, to sabotage the other kingdoms, maybe even from inside if necessary.
There are 2 other kingdoms than Staberinde currently. I have no idea who they are.

Comodo Icedragon can use some FireFox extensions, right? I read that it works with GreaseMonkey 1.12 but not newer versions ... it's GreaseMonkey that gives the scripting ability to FireFox.

You can't do anything there.

go find party level 0 artefact quests which give you bonuses for raiding level 1 dungeons. Start going for party level 5 artefact quests (which correspond to level 2 dungeons) when the level 1 dungeons get too easy. Then onto party level 10 quests / level 3 dungeons etc. The goal is @ level 15 you can be a mayor of a town, and around level 8 you probably want to start garrisoning your guys in the wilderness (this is free) when you're offline, and have a secondary party of grunts (you can buy pre-made characters) who man the garrison while the main heroes are off adventuring.

There's nothing to do in Ashford right now, not even quests. Shift to doing only dungeon quests as you get around level 4-5. Do the hardest dungeons you can comfortably raid without running out of healing. Plus carry gems around (from shops) so you're pre-prepared to claim the gem quest bonuses in each town.

I used the sage to find more low-level dungeons: a level 1 at (59,61) and 2 x level 2's at (99,66) and (77, 54)

Prosperity is semi RNG, it's never quite stable, and even the best laid cities will fluctuate based on invisible markets.  Maybe the price of fish dropped, or a new gold mine opened.  Who knows!  It fluctuates.  Though it DOES improve if there's a lot of visitors and a lot of excess income.  Chances are also that he raised his peasant tax, which would hurt the peasantry.  I've set my own tax to 10% and entry fee to near-free.  Hopefully the free market will encourage my town to grow.
Hmm, I stopped by the town we got lately (wow look'it all the B12 parties [and 2 other seeming random people without party descriptions]...its pretty nice!
I was wondering how to contribute, however. Mayhap does the Inn even affect prosperity? I mean, the daily fee for lodging seems to...err, fluctuate too?

SCORE :))
...Err, now where was that handy script you made again Reelya? :O

Also I somehow discover random orbs in my travels -.-
Should I just destroy them or run away and seek the nearest town for the quest and then destroy them?

And another thing: What use are the blank scrolls//wood//wool and other things in shops, do?
Do the shop affixes (ie [Name]'s Junk/Shop/Store) say anything about the quality of goods offered? And is there anything that dictates more shops opening or closing?

I would look for quests before wrecking orbs. They're a pain to find, so any chance to complete the quests is a score.

Reelya's script is available easily from the map.

The raw materials are used for fortifying garrisons. The scrolls can be inscribed by a high-level mage or priest.

The shop suffix is random.

For the scrolls, specifically starting at level 8 you can inscribe leftover spells onto the scrolls for use later. This is handy because you can then cast more heals etc on a big day than you could otherwise. Plus, anyone can use the scrolls. So you can e.g. give your mage heal scrolls and your priest icebolt scrolls and they can both double as magical attack/defence during a battle (mage is kinda useless once they run out of spells otherwise), while both duel-wielding shields so they have higher survivability. It's like having two priests+two mages for the price of one.

The stats page must be bugged it says I have 3 garrisons when I have only 1.

Do you know what happens if for example; you make a garrison with 7 characters, then leave your party of 1 sitting in the same square overnight. Will the garrison attack the mobs first or will the mobs get the chance to attack your solo character on his own first?

That link is obsolete, now. the parties page is integrated into the map system now, and it's generated dynamically, so it's a .php rather than .html file.

Can I have the password for the map?

I don't think the Axes of Armoris are controlled by one of us. The poor player must be so confused.

Will just add my opinion to whats already been said.

The most important thing people can do is level up at least one party to as strong as possible and get some ID gear to start boosting up.
Its probably better you all spread around down there. Flooding Ashford gains little really. Even the 300-400 fees is peanuts once you get going with your party. I actually went to Ashford last night to buy 2 of the ID weapons there - Its not really conclusive since I just stomped my way there, brought the items, then stomped my way back to my hideout BUT it seemed really tame in the area during that visit compared to where I had been hunting before. Likely because its so busy. Everyone that stays there will probably get bored/frustrated due to the lack of quests and the fact they wont have a major impact on it.

Trying to make Ashford prosperous is a waste of time since that doesn't lead to a chain of events which makes a kingdom happen.

All that matters is that one person has to personally control 4 cities, and to do that they need i think it's 3? level 20 characters for every city after the first one, which only needs level 15. After that happens, everyone else can grab 1 city easily when they hit level 15, and set their alliegance to the country (which will also make your garrisons claim land for our color too I think, so it is a good idea to pre-place our garrisons in an optimized grid before the country is founded).

There was a previous post saying we should give girlinhat money so she can run the town without grinding dungeons. That's actually counter-productive, because without dungeon grinding she's stuck at 1 town for the next few months no matter how pretty we make it. Let's face it, the game has a dungeon-grinding based economy.

Yeah. I hang around there a lot of the time because I have two garrisons in the vicinity (Reelya, I think you mentioned plans for a dungeon/garrison editor. Any progress?) and I don't like to travel too far with a single character, but when online I think it's best we give each other space.

Which is not to say everyone must get thee hence, but spreading a little certainly won't hurt.
