I don't think this will necessarily be bad, Cliffhanger seem like a smart bunch of people - their goal is to become a company well known for RPG and Strategy games on PC. Can't complain about someone wanting to be that. They've also apperently been in talks to license Deadlands.

I'm still not expecting much.  If it wasn't microtransaction funded I might be interested, but you know its going to have lame things like:
- x2 experience for a week, 5$
- Street Samurai class, 10$
- Spell Tome 4, fire magic, 7$

etc.

Then again, I might just be overly bitter and jaded.
