Why would you? If you mean real time, I'm having all updates happen over the weekend until I feel better, not one update a week. If you mean game time, being knocked out only lasts two official turns. After mice and Weird get caught up, you'll only be out of it for the morning set and then wake up.
One special and one official update to go. And you're all really good about posting actions when I need them, so you might even get back in before I go to sleep.

So, now what? Do I get an intro post or something? I'm slightly lost as to what's going on, other than that there's at least one village and mercenaries involved.

Trying to get caught up, still lost. Everyone's in a castle in the mana realm, or off in a village in the same? I have no idea where I am/will be.

Well the Gnoll is the the soul realm, except for his body. Man, it would be awakward if another PC decided to poke around Cicatrix's house.

But I'm pretty sure you start in the castle.

I wouldn't worry about a location. This is mostly from memory, so I might be wrong about one or two of them.

Ba is dead and working his way through the spirit realm. Body is in Cicatrix's house in the castle gardens.

Cicatrix is near an abandoned village with Cyrano (mercenary leader).

Forrel is collecting a bounty in a different village.

Brier is in a cave mining for ore. Very dwarfy.

Veranus is in a forest trying not to get killed.

Everyone starts out at the castle. Brier is lost in a cave somewhere, Forrel is traveling to the second stop with a caravan, Veranus is knocked out for another turn after killing several dozen people, Cicatrix is in the village the mercenaries are occupying, and Ba is only technically living at the moment.

Brier occupies the workshop, Forrel hasn't made a home, Veranus sleeps underneath a giant statue that's basically just a pillar, Cicatrix made her own house, and Ba has no personal home either.

The area the castle occupies is roughly the size of a large island, on a mountain several times the size of Everest. The Hub(main building of the castle) is the size of a large city. The mana realm grows theoretically infinitely.

There is a spirit lair, gigantic forest full of mutants, and abandoned village full of mercenaries within viewing distance of the castle. Behind the castle is the shrine of Thanatos. Next to it is the cave Brier is lost in.

Of the 20 initial doors, 17(?) have been unlocked, the generator has been discovered and is activated.

Mage king is named Solom, he was part dragon part forest elf, he's got a cult of people who worship him, his grave is in the capital city of the continent everyone is one. The continent is a floating island.

Veranus has killed a liger, a rabbit bear, a mutant wolf, and about 38 people. Ba has killed two merchants, two zombies, and a few implied off-camera spiders or some such. Forrel has killed one bandit for a reward of 150G(15000 coin). Cicatrix has killed two merchants and two zombies vicariously through Ba. Brier has killed no one.

Brier has made two machines to unlock the doors without damaging them, and one spear. Ba has made one low quality "shield." Cicatrix has made several mutated insects to serve her bidding, a large-ish corpse chimera golem mount, and a uselessly large pile of magical silk. Veranus has made two(?) stone trinkets of average quality with high quality stone.

Brier and Veranus are the official leaders of the group as of yet. Ba and Cicatrix run their own turns separately. Forrel has been used as an outlet for comic relief.

Are there people other than the players in the castle/group? There were some references to followers and soldiers.

Where am I coming from? Did I wander off and find the castle, or have I been milling around in there the whole time, or what?

The Runners is comprised of a theoretically infinite number of NPCs. The PCs are assumed to have been with the NPCs the whole time, just not doing anything productive. You can write yourself an introduction of how you got through the gate, but it's canonically forced into the past.
