But, uh. When I tried to download? The patching program chewed up over 2 gigs of ram and ended up locking itself (and most of my computer, for a bit) up. What the hell?

It worked fine here, by which I mean I watched it install two or three patches and then went afk until it finished and I have 3.5 GB of RAM available to Windows (but no program could see over 2 GB, I think, since this is 32-bit windows).

Alright guys I got it working. The "Download Now" link only work when you are logged in. My account creation got botched up but it's all good now. Looking forward to playing with you guys. This game is like the a mix of Navy Field and Homeworld. Meaning: Awesome!

One of the most OP/likely to be nerfed combinations at the moment is stealth generator and missile/torp spam on a cruiser. Cloak, Spam skills/de-cloak on top of them, enemy is dead or crippled unless they manage to get countermeasures off- which they shouldn't because you're on top of them.

Also, I'm now wrecking lives on my crit snipe dreadnought. Enemy team complained I had better range than jesus when I was shooting across 1/4th the map, screen away.  1095 rating, 131 world rank.

Corvette with Cloak, Blink, Shockwave and that Shield recharge thing is also pretty boss, you can also switch out jump for Torpedoes if you want extra oomph but don't plan on getting out alive.What all of this combined does is give you crazy AoE that also cripples the enemy team by sucking away shields, hull/armor and preventing them from using any abilities at all ^^

Depending on the game mode it can go from either 20-ish minutes to well over an hour.
