With the rogue and all my minions returned, it's time for some changes. I've given a mission to several of my underlings to capture children from the surrounding area; but not too many at once lest the baron or some other fool comes.
Everyone else begins the construction of a more permanent fortification; a castle. Course I have no architect to assist me...This will take some time.
And testing my magical capabilities on one of my minions? Why not.
My domination spell does nothing; the little rat is already brainwashed.
Summoning a swarm of bees makes the thing cry in pain, but little else happens.
Rain of Sludge causes sludge to fall upon the rat. He's probably dead by now, but you don't really care.
Embossed Zone further disfigures the corpse.
Harden Stone seems to do nothing at all. But upon further inspection, the rat's bones and teeth are harder.
Better Sharps seems to sharpen EVERYTHING about the rat. even his organs.
Enough of this experimentation, there are other things to be done.

The men have uncovered something in their foundation-making. Some old structure. Probably some town from the Old Empire. I can sense strange energies coming from it; it haunts me in my dreams.
I have also received a message from some noble. Pah! Barely deserve to be called one I say.
