This might attract unwanted attention too soon my misstress.
In MY opinion, we should try something more.. subtle.. Subtle but still invokes the kind of fear and loyalty a dragon would.

Ever heard of the Dragonkin? They are humanoids who have dragon ancestry, but are not as large so they would attract less attention. Despite their size compared to full blooded dragons, they do have some of the strength and abilities as dragons.

Besides, you would look good as a dragonkin my misstress.

And as a plus side to being a dragonkin, is that these mortals we are fighting would believe the dragonkin have started an invasion.
Imagine the political chaos that would ensue. Fuhuhuh, I love these kind of intrigues..

Might as well but we should find a way to transform some of our more loyal servants into lesser forms of dragonkin so We'll have a more powerful and scarier army.

Send our Elven Rogue into the city of Syclum with 15 gold.  Tell the Rogue he may spend 3 gold on himself, the other 12 is bribe money.  He is to gather information from local historians, scribes, priests and wizards about historical items, specifically mugs.  Then gather information in the local tavern from off duty soldiers about local defenses while they're drunk.

He is to go into town unarmed.  If they find a weapon on him, they may dispatch him or deny him entry to the city.

Indeed. Try roaring out, and put all of your effort it. You might be able to discover new "dragon shout" based powers and add new documented abilities in the process.
