He was able to smell power from the shapeshifter, and also knowing what the shapeshifter really is. Surely, he must've led armies before, or had a seat of power sometime within his life.

I ask him if he would be willing to learn under me as an apprentice and also serve as an advisor. He says he would serve without question...He's tired of wandering around, apparently...Course he wants a wage. 20 gold!? Seriously!? That as much as I pay my bloody mercenaries! Then he showed me some credentials...High King Tharm. Chief Yorkas. Admiral Dolf. King Serimas. Lady Gahan. Even Magister Selicum!!! Gods...Who is this guy!?

Oh, and I've ordered my new army to scour the lands and take revenge on the humans that enslaved them! Course, things never work out...They bumped into a human host and a Fair Folk Warband! What should I order them to do?

Also, bad news. The Martyn fellow has PUSHED BACK THE FAIR FOLK! Reports are a bit hazy on how he did it though...

Kestrel Thats not a good idea the loser could wipe us out even with our new army and have the bolds in trouble run also find a way to murder martyn any way I don't care if we just hire some dude to do it just kill him.

I once again ask him who he is. He laughs. I shout and throw sludge at him. He easily deflects it and laughs even more. Finally, he tells me. He reveals that his name is really Gerf Harrid...Never heard of him. He says he was always undercover or was quiet. Good enough.

I send messangers to both hosts...The Fair Folk throw back a kobold head filled with dirt, while the humans send back the messenger alive with a note saying that they're the Heart Breaker Company currently under hire by the Recording Guild to protect the ruins of the lands.

The battle goes on for some time...It's not even done yet. The Fair Folk seem to be winning by a fair margin...They've even taken a few shots at my army!

I've returned to Farek, and have asked for reports on how Martyn pushed back the Fair Folk. Details are scarce, but my scouts report something about a ritual in some old temple...Harrid says he could be consorting with spirits or even demons.

Take the notion of attacking the fair folk from the flanks. They're the more dangerous foe. Run the idea by your new advisor first. Also run it by a 5yo old child to see if it has any flaws.
