"Dragons and dragon halflings can naturally kill with their voices through a power called the Tongue of the Ancients. It takes excessive training just to passively weaken it to the point this idiot has."
"To answer your question, saturation was originally done by asking non-aggressive dragons of less wild orders to constantly bathe you in its voice for three months. After that, dragons that possess stronger voices will naturally develop a smaller and smaller effect on you, with or without being bathed in their voice. The new process that Dragon Priests use is to have powerful dragons who are willing to work with them transfer the power of the tongue to those willing to accept it. Only a few Dragon Priests don't have the patience to sit through the original process, so you won't see anyone bringing people to their knees just from talking."
"Regardless, I recommend neither method. If you really want to be saturated, then you can come back through meditation and search for the souls of dragons to help you find your own method. Probably. Anyway, you've been here long enough, follow both of your chains back to your body, it shouldn't take more than a few minutes if that's what you're after."

"I'll keep that in mind if I ever need to undergo training, but it's been too long since I left my body. I should be going." With that Ba turned to leave, focusing on both tattoos.

    Ba mini
The chains point in two different directions, but Ba was told to follow both. He travels until they run parallel to each other. Ba feels a falling sensation, and wakes with a forward thrust and gasp in the "house" Cicatrix kept him in. The tattoo burns from pain, but it's tolerable. When Ba inspects himself in the reflection of the liquid mana, he notices a change in his appearance.

Brier watched for a moment, his head bowed in respect for the fallen Urists, new and old.
"I don't suppose any of you are actually here, instead of just being golems?"

Brier continued on, though stayed to talk if any of the statues responded.

One of the statues begins to speak directly into Brier's mind.
"We are not golems, nor are we here. We come here to mourn the murder of a comrade. Why do you trespass on our land of mourning, deep elf?"

Forrel bows slightly, and then says, "Is there any chance of there being some enchanting work being done or if I could speak to a merchant leader of some kind?"

"I do apologize, sire, but I believe you seek a different building. This is not a guild, nor is it a shop. This is the Temple of Voices of Holod. Here we dedicate ourselves to training and understanding the voices of dragons through the teachings of the great hero, Solom. We are known as Dragon Priests by those who do not understand our desire to learn of dragons."

(TES much? ;))

Solmon again, eh? Forrel thought on this. The draconic tongue was something Forrel had heard about in tall-tales and children's stories. It was simply a language spoken by dragons. He understood why a centre for learning draconic was useful, and he understood that Solom was involved heavily with dragons, but Forrel didn't see how learning it was considered holy. Although it would be useful, he did have a hatchling of his own.

"Terribly sorry, excuse me for my mistake; I've not been in this realm for long. But I think I would like to learn the tongue myself...Would that be proper?

I had planned on dragon priests and death voice when I first gave MK a race, which was way before I even considered buying Skyrim. Also it's Solom, not Solomon. Also, language has nothing to do with why the voice is deadly, and you'll be learning about it sometime this week. But for now, I'll just let you speculate.

...she had stopped caring entirely, and just wanted to fight me because she enjoyed it. Her excuse for that? She didn't like the mustache I was growing!

Veranus couldn't supress a small, shy smile.

"It's hard for me to imagine my Queen like that...all we knew of her was the legend, the champion, The Leader...never the awkward young woman..."

"She who you knew because she found her place. And she was happy there. So cheer up, or else she'll haunt you. Literally. Probably."

Veranus nodded.

"I assumed her spirit would have passed on by now, to rule our people in the Quiet Homes of the Ancestors...you truly think she watches over me still?"

Ba'gandi numbly woke up in Cicatrix's shack. He felt nothing around him except a burning sensation on his heart. As feeling started returning to his body his fur slowly blended from shade to shade outward from his heart until his fur was a fiery golden red. He slowly sat up turning his attention to his hands where his ceremonial tattoos once were. They were still there, but they were different. The vibrant red tattoos that adorned his upper body seemed to be endlessly shifting, and changing into intricate shapes on their own. The circular black and white chains that encircled his arms, and the spiral that surrounded his heart still remained from his trip to the spirit realm, and seemed to be the source of the mild pain he felt.

Standing up, Ba noticed the changes he had undergone. He plainly accepted his appearance as he saw it in the pool of blood and liquid mana that had formed on the floor. What had felt like months in the spirit realm had left him jaded to his changed appearance. He had other things to think about, such as how long it had been since he died, and where everyone was. He intended to apologize for lying Cicatrix to acquire the powers, but it seems as if he will have to wait a bit longer.

Since Cicatrix clearly isn't in her house Ba tries to seek her out over by the altar, listening and looking for anything that might be amiss.

"She'd haunt every last one of the surviving members of your people at the same time if even one of you got her mad enough."

"Yes, I suppose so...her temper was legendary, that it was..."

Time passed. The two found much common-with Veranus as she was, and the Queen. It was an odd thing, how similiar they were.

In time, the Old Dwarf allowed Veranus to pass into a restful sleep once more, letting her wounds heal-promising they could speak more later, if she wished.
