    Brier
Brier checks in on the miners, who seem to have advanced dramatically since he had last seen them. While they aren't quite good enough to keep up with the output of the mountain, they have become capable of recognizing ore that had previously eluded them. And with the military district fully open, and access to medical supplies being gained, previously injured miners are beginning to join in with everyone else.
Enough ore has been gathered by the vastly improved forces to create several of the aimless spiders. Brier estimates about 20 spider shells worth of materials being ready. Now he just needs to find some stones to hold the mana, and he'll have everything he needs to make the spiders.
    Veranus Tigerclaw
Before Veranus can continue her reckless behavior, Gram walks in and casts the combined forces of an unknown ultimate paralysis and ultimate healing spell on Veranus. The damage to her body lifts, and wounds that had begun bleeding had turned to scars that were merely light. Feeling the loss of control set in, Veranus falls into a panicked sleep, only hearing Asa being ordered to move her to a different room that's somehow special. She wakes up the next morning, still numb.
    Forrel/Ba'gandi
Ba, Forrel, Tince, the high priest, and Cyrano follow the white chains only Ba can see to the Hall of the Mage King. The trek was difficult in the dark, and there were several times even Ba would have given up at, but the group managed to reach their goal, despite the blizzard.
    Cicatrix Greywood Greenflower
Cicatrix spends the night adding pouches to her chimera, making it her own personal walking storage. She assigns a queen, some drones, and some soldiers to the chimera. She absorbs some of the mana being produced so profusely in her home while she was busy to restore her reserves that had been drained from her attempts at using some of her old spells. She falls asleep, dreaming of her child and the beings within the Hub that plague her.
    Seiyas/Newman/Vox
While Newman busies himself looking for a book on healing magic, Seiyas busies herself Carrying Vox to the barracks, then dragging him over to the medical rooms with one of the beds.
Seiyas has her golems tie Vox down while she searches him for anything she could use, a practice she hasn't been able to uphold for several weeks. Weeks that her parents would be so disappointed living.Other than his mostly broken weapon, and banged up armor, the only thing interesting on Vox that she finds is his horns. She continues searching despite her interest in turning the horns into golem materials, and eventually finds a note and necklace.
          Dear sir or madam,
If you are reading this note, then you have found my apprentice. He refuses to speak, so if you plan on torturing him to find information, you should know that his voice will literally kill you before you get any useful information out of him, so that option is officially closed for you. However, if you aren't trying to torture and kill him, you should know he's a very nice kid, once you get past any initial aggressiveness. Well, treat him well for me, I've got some business to take care of before I can come after him. Oh, and do be wary that you not take his necklace, lest you want to incur his screaming.
                                                                                                                                                                                    Sincerely, Hathoway

Seiyas ponders the strange letter as Newman returns with the book of healing. He chants a few words from the book, and Vox's complexion improves. His bleeding is also mostly stopped, save for the smaller cuts that weren't being focused on. Vox wakes up to his bindings.

Ba looked around the Hall that he just arrived in. "This is the end of the chain..." He cleared his throat and turned to the others. "Well... I suppose we should see if we can find someone to ask about Veranus." Ba was a bit worried that this might not be the place, but he tried to keep a straight face.

Search for people in the Hall.

Search around the cave for some good looking stones, if none can be found, head to the Urist fort and ask the leaders if they have any. Once the stones are found, begin work on creating 20 spiders.

"The book can come later ... maybe Seiyas could get one of her golems to search for me ..." Newman said as he gave up on his search, and ran to the place Seiyas most likely took the man, the barracks hospital. As he burst through the door Newman saw Seiyas, and said "Please refrain from stealing his stuff, he is a friend not an enemy. As long as they aren't an ally, or an unknown I could care less if you ate them. Now did you find anything interesting?"

"Yes! This note. And his horns. Nothing else, I'm afraid. Usually a warrior should at least have some spending money," she finished, a bit glumly.

Handing Newman the note, she turned back to the newcomer's horns. "These are very nice, do they regrow?"

Veranus wondered what that spell was, and why they didn't use it earlier...she was still numb and tired, so it was easy to rest...

Veranus goes to sleep for bit

Seiyas gave an irritated sigh. That look. The one she got whenever she asked someone something that somehow offended them, like whether they were going to use that dead friend.

Well, fine. She had better things to do right now anyway. "Good luck," she said to Newman, scurrying out the door. There was stone to be found.

Take golems along on journey, looking for suitable stone for the golem. Travel fair distance from castle to avoid marring landscape.

Newman shook his head, and mumbled, "So strange ..." With that he rushed over to the downed elf, and began checking him over again to make sure he still wasn't injured. He would rather not let anyone die for anyone could be the one he pledged his life to, and losing that person would take his meaning for living from him.

Check the elf over once more time, and see if I can wake him.

((:P Woops missed that last bit.))

As Newman began examining the elf he realized the man was awake, and stopped checking him over. He sat back in the chair, and said, "Nice to see you awake. The restraints are only to keep you from killing me when I'm trying to make sure you don't die. I'll let you out if you decide not to try, and harm me, or anyone else in this place. Nod if you agree, shake your head if you don't."

    Brier
Brier wanders around the cave in search of stone, occasionally passing by a miner. A few mages seem to have established some light sources for the miners, making the search for stone all the more easy. It doesn't take long for Brier to stumble upon a large deposit of what appears to be a material used in constructing the buildings around the Hub.
Brier has a miner pick out a few chunks of the material, and Brier runs off to start construction. The design takes only a few minutes each to complete, and in just a few hours Brier finds himself with 20 completed spiders. He pours mana into one, and it almost immediately begins moving. The legs are a bit stiff, but nothing that can't be worked out with ease. Brier gives himself a pat on the back for his successful creation, then gets to work on the rest of the spiders, having them all up and about in a matter of minutes.
    Veranu Tigerclaw
Veranus falls into a light sleep, but is almost immediately woken up by the small screeches of a bird. When she looks over, she sees the phoenix chick vying for her attention. Veranus looks around, and sees Gram, Hoz, Asa, and the mercenary operating some kind of strange device. In their tinkering, Veranus becomes trapped in the vessel.
"Before you start panicking, we're doing this for my own good. I'm sick of healing you, so we're going to make it so that I don't have to do it again while you're here. Oh, and your pet bird hatched, so that makes this easier."
Before Veranus can react, Hoz pulls down a lever, and a sharp pain enters Veranus. For a few short seconds, Veranus feels what the mother phoenix must have felt when her life ended. But like all things, the pain leaves her body just as soon as it enters, and Veranus feels a new force flushing through her veins, and a strong draw to the phoenix chick.
"There! I'm done with this, you're on the same list as Maid-Face and Captain Sparkles now, I refuse to heal you again!"
Veranus is released as Hoz storms out in a fit of what appeared to be a lesser rage than usual.
    Forrel de Yahmiz
Forrel looks around. This area feels similar, yet vastly different from the Hub. While the Hub was a gathering point for countless spirits that outnumbered even the spirit lair by it, this place was utterly devoid of spirits. It even feels like mana has difficulty flowing through, something incredibly worrying in a place called the mana realm. Forrel notices that the architecture and building materials are almost exactly the same as the Hub, so what's rejecting the spirits and mana so forcefully?
    Cicatrix Greywood Greenflower
Cicatrix wanders outside, finding her way to the labyrinth. She begins pushing mana into the plant labyrinth, steadily growing them out, until she eventually runs out of mana. It was a dangerous thing to do, but she runs back, drinks the liquid mana to force herself back at full power, and gives an extreme push to the puny obstacle, forcing it to nearly eight times the size it was, but draining her almost entirely of mana. Another few sips of that mana would be dangerous, so Cicatrix spends the remaining morning trying not to overexert herself, and meditating.
    Ba'gandi Kashi
Like Forrel, Ba looks around. But not for spirits, or details in the architecture, but for people. People he can seek information from. None of the people in the hall prove helpful in the slightest, but they do reveal that Veranus was here. She apparently went missing over night, along with the hall master, the head maid, a healer, and the captain of the mercenaries. Just as Ba nearly abandons his hopes of finding her anytime soon, someone points out that a disgruntled elf who had just entered was the healer who had gone missing. When Ba looks over the elf, a sense of familiarity overwhelms him, as both chains begin to forcefully drag Ba to him.
    Seiyas Stormclaw
Seiyas wanders around looking for stone for over an hour, until she spots Brier leaving the cave with his haul. Having not known what had happened to him, she doesn't recognize Brier, and simply regards him as another faceless person in the crowds. Regardless, she goes into the caves, and finds herself the stone she needs. The only problem is convincing a miner to help her... These were mostly humans, and humans had a longstanding hatred of her people for being part demon.
    Newman/Vox
As Newman interrogates Vox, he notices the ever increasing cracks in the bed, until it eventually snaps. Newman draws his swords, and waits in a defensive stance for Vox to make his move. Vox looks around for his weapons, but eventually sees that his sword was busted, and his dagger wouldn't hold up against Newman's swords. Vox eventually begins his assault using the broken bed posts his hands were still tied to, and the two swordsmen fight it out into the courtyard. The scar on Vox begins to turn black as they get closer and closer to the Hub, until he eventually stops in surprise, completely forgetting he was in a fight. Newman stops his assault when Vox stops showing signs of hostility. Newman hears a voice in his head.
"Where am I...?"

"Enough magic for now." The necromancer smiles to herself, admiring her labyrinth in progress. "Now onto matters of the mundane."

Cicatrix grabs a handfull of silk to show off, and tries to find a Runner who would be willing and able to process her impressive silk stores into cloth. She then checks for new bugs, and divides her weapon fungus into several samples for further experimentation.
