It's dark.

You shove a hand out. It goes straight through some sort of dirt-like thing, into what feels like ground. You shove your head out, and cough dirt. You are in a suburban garden, at night. The sun is setting on the horizon, and it's already dark. Ahead of you you can see a porch, leading to a normal house that has light. Someone closed their door, and walked off. A rocking bench still swings. You don't know who you are, what you are doing here or anything apart from the English language and English slang. You seem to be wearing a tattered business suit covered in dirt, and your head occasionally pierces with pain. You try to keep your moaning under control. You try to assert what to do next.

Well, came from the ground, act like plant, you guess. You attempt to see if you can grow some leaves if you turn out to be some sort of human/plant hybrid, which could be possible considering your current situation. You close your eyes and think plant... Uh, photosynthesize? You fall over in pain. The pain there really spiked, but something happened. That wasn't regular pain, that was something else entirely. You could feel something on your legs. You check your legs. Doesn't seem to be anything down there. You know that something happened, but it wasn't growing leaves. That disproves the human/plant hybrid idea, for now.

You attack the house, causing the plants to deny you! MY GOD! THEY ARE WORKING AGAINST YOU! You get consumed by plants and die a horrible horrible death.

Yeah, that'd be pretty funny if that happened. Except for you. And who are the players, anyway? You check yourself for wounds. You are perfectly fine, actually. The pain just comes from your head, like a stag party gone horribly horribly wrong. You have blood circulating, your heart is beating and there aren't any bite marks. You probably aren't a zombie, so that rules that out for now. Maybe. You can't really see how you could escape a grave without just plain dying from dirt inhalation, so it should be on the list.
