While that may be true, you're actually at your most powerful (such as it is) for the first few games.

Not many teams have block (unless you 'luck' into Norse as your first match) and since we don't have any dwarves, none have tackle. If there's ever a time when you should be trying your all to win games, it's right now. Things will just get harder later on.

I haven't seen your team yet (at work), but a halfling team should start at 900 team rating. If yours is not, you may want to consider remaking it. The reason for this is that it will allow you to buy a halfling cook for your first match, wich will probably take all you opponents rerolls and give them to you. Again, the games are just going to get harder - might as well win as many early on as possible.

Oh, and any time you get a valuble player on the ground, surround him and foul. Foul again if it doesn't take the first time. Halflings are only 30k each, and you've probably got a bunch to spare, so even if you get caught, chances are you'll make a profit.

Use throw teammate often, especially in later games, since it's just about the only way a halfing is going to get to the end zone.

Anyway, just my 2c on Halfling tactics. Good luck!

I've refreshed myself with lizards over the last few days, and I get the feeling that the first few gamw=es aren't going to be a cakewalk so much as a bitter struggle to the endzone.

Fun.

Consider, if starting at 900 TV, selling some stuff at the start to lower it to buy even more inducements.

Suddenly finding out you don't have any rerolls makings playing kinda suck, even if your opponents are weak as hell.

Yah, it sounds like minecraft with content, you have obviously missed the point, people dont like content, they like different coloured blocks.
Seems to work fine with my copy. As soon as I loaded the human caravan came by and the world burst into fire.

After accepting all the teams that have applied, we are now at 11 teams.

We're now waiting on just sluissa with his Skaven team.

...

Feel free to start poking him in an effort to make him move faster.

I've been trying. The blood bowl servers won't let me create my team!

Anyone have any ideas? I'm constantly getting "Error: failed to establish connection." When I click "create team".

If you're getting this 100% of the time, the advice to start with, I think, is:

While I hadn't tried that before my post. I did eventually look it up and try it, but still no luck.

It shouldn't have to be to just make a team...

Sure it should. Online teams are stored on central servers; otherwise, you could modify your team on your local hard drive. So you have to be able to communicate with the BB servers to create online teams.

Yeah, but it doesn't have to connect to you. I can't port forward on this router, but I've no problem making teams and joining games -- just can't host them.
