I've been going back and forth on this since season 2 launched, but I'm going to bite the bullet and request a slot if it's not too late. I'm leaning toward a high elf team at the moment, try for a change of pace from playing block-happy Dwarf teams.

That said, I've never tried the game's online play before* so I'd appreciate it if someone could help me set up a test game to verify the feasibility of online play at my end.


*With the rulebook freely available my friends and I would play with grid paper and beads. Good times.

EDIT: I just finished a test game and I'm not wholly incompetent with high elves, so I think I can safely confirm my team choice.

Ok, I've got the League up. The name is: "Bay12 League 3". Password is "Bay12" - remember, capitalization is important.

Although I briefly considered trying something exotic with two pools of players, I decided to go with the tried-and-true (mostly because if I mucked it up, it'd be a massive hassle to recreate.)

1 Pool, everyone plays everyone else once, then the top 4 teams will go into the semi-finals.

Do remember - rerolls are your friends! There is no team that should ever start with none, and most would be better served with 2 or 3. Remember - they'll double in price in-league!

Elves should consider Apoh's, since their players cost so much to replace; but that's 50k you can't spend on more stuff.

Having a Fan Factor greater than 0 can give you a decent boost on the kickoff events. It can be worth throwing 10 or 20k at.
