@lawastooshort: Never! Good sir I'm a noble kingsman and will not soil my family and children with the title of assassins. Ta ta!

See you extremist fools, the way to victory is by moderation! MUWHAHAHA!

Anyway...

After a good snooze, I eat breakfast/dinner/whatever with my peers at a nearby gentleman's club. Just discuss about philosophy, religion, news, wars, and small talk. After doing so, ask them what they would think about teaching some people. Try convincing them by saying that by influencing the children, we can help dictate the future. Just trying to make friends and all. After doing so, head to the church and tell him that I plan to set up a new school in the university dedicated to teaching the needy. Say that I plan to give them good living conditions and good jobs and that I plan to get the king to give it his blessings. I also plan a program for beggars to learn trades, specifically bookmaking and paper-making. Finally, put out an ad for assistants. One male and one female. Preferably lower-class. Free housing and food. If the king arrives, go to the scheduled appointment, bow, kiss his hand, and begin talks (I'll say specifically what I want next next turn).

Go to purchase some paint and paint some rather humorous artwork against capitalism on some walls

Turn 9: Schooling and scheming.

1. London- Tersr

(3) You find someone to spar with, and enjoy a gentlemanly sword fight. (3) It was very close, but you just triumphed. Feeling you have learned something about sword fighting, you leave the establishment.
TRAIT GAINED  Trained I: You are educated in the ways of sword fights. +1 to first roll in any sword fight.

Spoiler: Aaron (click to show/hide)

2. Oxford- micelus

Refreshed from your small nap, you head to your local bowls club and eat a small lunch there, chatting with some gentlemanly folk about gentlemanly things. After you feel you have a bond with them, you ask if they would like to do some teaching to educate some little-uns. (4) The men are eager, filling their greedy little heads with ideas of power, influencing their will over the future.
Leaving them to scheme, to head back up to the church and pitch your idea to the priest; a school for the uneducated that's better than any home they would otherwise have. The man agrees with your plan, (2) but he wants at least 15 guineas to help renovate an old building for the schoolhouse.
Finally you head to the town square, and post your advertisement for assistants. (6) You get responses just hours later, and soon have the ideal two assistants; lower class, one male and one female, and eager to work.

Two turns until the King's visit.

3. Manchester- Ultimah

You slowly push the door open, and slip through the gap as soon as it is big enough, (5) and find yourself in a storeroom.
Thinking of lighting a match, you pull the box out of your pocket, and then smell it.
Gunpowder. You must be in the weapon store! Fumbling around in the dark, (3) you manage to identify several weapons.
Short sword
Longsword
Pistol x2
You take up to 2 of the above.

Spoiler: William Bucket (click to show/hide)

4. Cardiff- Riccto

Buying a can of crimson paint from a store, you find a blank wall: Your canvas. (3) You paint a mildly funny cartoon on the wall, depicting capitalism as the French (very bad). Watching passing people, you see that not only do people chuckle at it, some even nod their heads appreciatively at the art. Satisfied with a job well done, you leave the area to get some sleep.

Spoiler: Conrad (click to show/hide)

5. Dublin- Sinpwn

(6+1 due to clever tactic) You get right up behind the mugger, and cock your pistol meaningfully. The man freezes, and you tell him to get down on his knees. When he has done so, you take any money he had, then turn to the old man.
RANDOM EVENT ROLL: (2) No random event.
The man can't stop thanking you, hell, he's practically worshipping you.
Now what?

Spoiler: Conchobhair (click to show/hide)

6. Edinburgh- lawastooshort

You hurriedly leave the area, (4) and manage to get to a salon with no trouble. Discussing poetry with a fellow called Mac, you think back over your last encounter, and where you went wrong. Perhaps you need to be more subtle...
"...and such is life. Isn't it beautiful?"
Nodding your head at the pompous idiot, you leave.

Find a head consealing hood and a hat with a flat top, if both are found find a bar or pub full of weak looking people. If I can't find both, go to the market.

Tell the man to spread the word that the citizens of Dublin need not kneel to those that would wish to oppress them and that they must stand against those who seek to do them harm. Then go buy some dapper, yet protective clothing.

Find some books on the great public speeches, such as the Greeks, Romans, and modern political thinkers, and study hard in the hope of improving my debating and convincing skills. I should probably be more subtle.

Send a letter to my old parents on the estate requesting 20 guineas. Say that I need it to impress the king. If that doesn't work, see if there are any jobs available as part of the newspaper staff.

Turn 10: Painting pretty pictures or, as governments call it, vandalism.

1. London- Tersr

Browsing London's shops, you begin to look for some clothing to conceal your identity. (1) Nobody sells the right piece, and you quickly get frustrated.
After utterly failing in this quest, you go to the market.

Spoiler: Aaron (click to show/hide)

2. Oxford- micelus

"You write a very aristocratic and upper-class letter to your parents, formally requesting 20 guineas to help with your task. (5) You get a speedy reply with the money enclosed, only scratching the surface of their treasury. You give the money to the priest, and beg him to make all haste renovating the house.
With a spring in your step, you head on back home.

One turn until the Kings visit.

3. Manchester- Ultimah

Taking the two pistols and putting them at your belt, you try to light a match without blowing yourself and the shop into the stratosphere.
((There was a chance of you being killed outright here, but you're not))
(5) The match flares up, and you cup the flame, watching your surroundings light up.
RANDOM EVENT: (4) Here we go.

Just before the match dies, you spot movement out the corner of your eye.
Then, in the darkness, you hear a squeak.
Rats.
What do you do?

Spoiler: William Bucket (click to show/hide)

4. Cardiff- Riccto

Taking another can, this time pink, you again head to the workers district. (4) You better your previous piece, with a beautiful yet serious picture.
(3+1 due to amusing art) One man seems to be interested, and you subtly approach him, asking him about the picture.
(4) "In all honesty, I think the artist is insightful and inspirational. What we need in this country is a good, solid commonwealth, not these bloody governments, and I'm happy to say so."

Spoiler: Conrad (click to show/hide)

5. Dublin- Sinpwn

You begin to talk to the man.
"What can you do for me? Go out, and speak out. The people shouldn't bow to others; we are all equal. If someone is being oppressive, rise up against them, and stop your suffering. Whether it's a criminal or a government, do not let you become their slave!"
The man's eyes light up, and he scurries off to "preach" your word.
Then, heading to the centre of the city, you go shopping. (5) You manage to pick up a quaint but sturdy little jacket and an extremely dapper hat with a hidden face protected that slides down.
Very nice.

Spoiler: Conchobhair (click to show/hide)

6. Edinburgh- lawastooshort

Picking up some books on Hannibal, Caesar and Alexander the Great, you begin to read their speeches in the hope of improving yours. (5) You learn countless techniques and ideas to improve your debating skills.
Trait gained- Speaker: +1 to rolls in public speaking or debates.

Read every book and newspaper I can find about the king and his entourage. I want to know his likes and dislikes, political views, friends, and enemies.

Also, buy a fancy ring with 6 guineas.

Tell my two assistants to go out to the taverns and inns and just listen for rumours and information.
