"I did come to see you! I thought you'd think me a better person if you thought I cared for these miserable wretches! 'Tis not true! I care only for you, my dearest Emma! When I see you not, the light in my heart is all but extinguished; when I see you again it rages like an inferno. I think only of you! My lips burn with the words I long to whisper into your ear, my arms ache with the longing to hold you between them, my heart yearns with longing every time the thought of you passes through it! I care not for the miserable, wretched, ulcerous, turgid, lecherous, awful, cantankerous and somnolent poor! Let them rot for eternity if it means I can but have you for one instant!"

Deliver speech and faint.

"I do believe I have an idea to solve most of our problems."

Ask for some capital. If capital is acquired, get permission to build some buildings. Then hire some poor people to build homes.

Turn 17: Rupturing.

IMPORTANT: You can now win the game. I have some factors about society that once influenced in your favour, will cause a revolution.

1. London- Tersr

You run into the first shop you see, distraught and dishevelled, screaming for some paper. The shopkeeper piles it upon you, eventually begging for you to leave. When you have enough you begin to write the song you thought of earlier, 5 times in total.
You then try to sell these copies to the public, as a test. (3) You manage to sell them all and make a small amount of money. (+3 money units)

Spoiler: Aaron (click to show/hide)

2. Oxford- micelus

"Alright. Well, I can solve all these problems with just a small amount of money..." (3) There is a groan, followed by the sound of twenty hands patting for money. You manage to gather 20 guineas from the men. Upon breaking up the meeting you head for the government building to acquire plans for building, which you obtain with ease. (3) You even manage to gather a decent sized workforce from the slums which you set to work building. However, with the first of the quotes coming in, you realise you are going to need more money to undertake such a feat.

3. Manchester- Ultimah

Dancing around the man, you try to find a perfect moment to strike. After a particularly powerful punch you find yourself in front of the man, in prime position. (5) Whipping out your dagger and launching yourself at the man you "plant the blade into his spleen", and feel a soft pop as it bursts. Shortly before the man doubles over and falls to the floor, you remove your blade and brandish it at the remaining thugs, who quickly clear out. The woman who they were harassing starts to come over.

Spoiler: William Bucket (click to show/hide)

4. Cardiff- Riccto

"Yes! Good idea. You can work with the..." He looks you up and down and tentatively says "middle-classes, and I'll work the upper." The man pulls out a pocket planner from nowhere.
"How's next Thursday?"
As you leave the house you have a feeling of a job well done and go to bed satisfied.

Spoiler: Conrad (click to show/hide)

5. Dublin- Sinpwn

"The govverment? Th' govment? Oh. Well. They'rr... Stupid. Houses 'r dirty, streets 'r dirty. Taverns dirty." The man scratches some dirt off the table, shortly before passing out.
When you've paid and left, you see what the man meant; the streets are filthy, and your apartment is no better. You can also never recall seeing a cleaner on the street, or any sign of the government trying to rectify this problem.

Spoiler: Conchobhair (click to show/hide)

6. Edinburgh- lawastooshort

After that long speech you are completely out of breathe, and do not need to fake a faint. (1) However, when you recover, all that is left of your date is an upturned table and your throbbing headache. Trying not to make eye contact with anyone you leave the restaurant, and conversation resumes with your passing.

Spoiler: Isaac Chesterton (click to show/hide)

Create pamphlets calling into question the government for leaving Dublin in squalor and discreetly pass them out to workers. Urge them to spread the word.

Send messages to other Socialist/Communist parties in the country. Ask if they can help in the improvement of Oxford...Particularly in ways of finding cash.

Seek out the local socialist party representative and enquire about joining and any political action they might have for me to do.

I'll look around to see if there are any nasty surprises lurking about before adressing the woman.

Alright guys, you've all probably seen it coming but I still feel bad; I'm gonna have to let this die. Circumstances have change since I started it, and I have a lot less free time on my hands. I feel like I've dragged it on a bit too long, and so I'm just gonna let it go.
Sorry guys. See you around.
