Furniture Hauling and Cages
« on: October 10, 2011, 11:25:23 am »

So I have several doors I need hauled downstairs and I'm not sure if the doors are actually there or not.  It says construction nearly done and I've switched some people to just furniture hauling but nothing is being done.  Any help?
EDIT:  Instead of making a new topic, I've decided to ask another question in here.  How do I get a dead animal out of a cage so I can extract bones from its dead body?  I need bones in order to keep my farmer from going insane.

Sounds like something was blocking the way, hindering final construction. Try to suspend and unsuspend the construction (q).

Never had the second problem myself, But I think you need to (I)ndicate a dump zone next to the cage, view the i(T)ems inside it, and (D)ump the contents, and unForbid what you want. the spare dump zone can be removed/deactivated afterwards.

I've had the same problem with caged corpses. Maybe it'll work if you place the cage and rig it to a lever but I'm not sure.

Or try what Drilltooth said.
