The SCIENCE!! stalactites use quantum physics to make the brick shards hit the kobolds instead by actually having been on the ceiling this whole time. They seem to be turning into a challenge.

You ask Gravity to raise hell. It tears a hole in the ground with itself until it gets knocked out of the way by a giant heat wave of hell-minions. The kobolds are unfazed by the sudden ragnorok.
