Twas two pages of ridiculous ramblings about ponies. Unless it's goblins riding, torturing, or doing various other horrible things to horses, ponies have nothing at all to do with this. Or anything else, really.

Seriously though Necro I think you're taking the whole ponies everywhere thing way too seriously. Let then come to the ponies.

It's kind of like door to door religious people trying to net converts. They're considered annoying by most and usually do not succeed at conversion.

Well, I still say we gotta pit a snatcher and a sieger against eachother, just to check their faction... Too bad I can't do that in arena (,can I?)

I believe this question NEEDS more !!SCIENCE!! before we give it up.

Necro, there's something I'd like to say.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Now, ponies may be strong, but dwarves with magma will always be more brutal, more gorey, more (un)intelligent and !!SCIENTIFIC!!
+Magma.

NOW PULL THAT LEVER!

I hereby call upon the Dwarven Community to reduce the !!SCIENTIFIC!! and Fun value of Ponies to 0 and launch the inquistive forces of the Mountainhomes!

Nobody expects the Dwarven Inquisition!

Never was trying to convert, I just like spouting memes, and that's how I got known here  :P

Ponies are Fun if they invade your fortress, considering that some can fly and they are bigger than dwarves  :P

Since when HAVEN'T the dwarves been mass murdering and torturing?  :P

And my fortress's ponies have magma, gibs, and ‼SCIENCE‼ as well  :P

EDIT: Yeah, I'll tone down the pony level  :)

Funny you mention that, actually. Because of my current moral dilemma concerning the nature of goblins, i have two snatchers that i have yet to dispose of. And, wouldn't you know it, a small siege appeared at my doorstep not too long ago.

I stopped playing before i had chance to deal with it, but I have a few cage traps set up, so i have little doubt that i will catch at least a couple of the little buggers. The DeathMaze is nowhere near completion, but i think my military alone should be able to handle them.

So, assuming that i survive the minor attack, i should be able to set up some sort of experimental area.

That's nice, and nobody even told me I should go do it myself. (I'm too lazy to make a new fort at the moment.)

They CAN be fun, but you can just as well add some wings to dwarves or mod in some flying enemies, the point is, they ARE Fun, but shouldn't flood the forums, after all, this still is DWARF Fortress.

Anyway, I'll give a minute of silence to the pony references we will lose by this.

I'm actually quite proud. It would seem we have managed to pull this thread back from the event horizon of pony-related derailment. Not an easy feat to accomplish.

4chan has no rails. 4chan is  a crazy train of adventure, fun and questionable content.
