I'd like the next available slot, if that's alright?

Wow. Aside from the miners, everyone's woefully unskilled. This will be a challenge.

I thought I'd give you ample supplies instead. You'll thank me later.
Geez it's taking you awhile just for the season of Spring. ._.;
I hope it's a damn good epic.

Also: I was taking a look in Legends Viewer and it seems like there's three goblin dark fortresses near our settlement. Three of them.
Oh and a shit ton of elves, which are always fun.
EDIT: Strike that. There's about twelve dark fortresses with demons and such.

Best fashion ourselves with an elite guard gentlemen in the coming years, lest we fall to our lesser foes.

Jesus this guy takes forever. o: "I'll have spring all written up by tonight! :D"

1 Granite
Well, here we are. Two miners and five peasants out here in a frozen sandy wasteland. None of us, save the two miners, know how to do anything. Well, I've assigned us some jobs to do while we wait for the mountainhomes to send us more skilled stock. I've always admired the mechanics back home, so I elect myself as the head mechanic. No trees, so carpentry will just be a hobby... Shark can handle that along with being the manager/broker/bookkeeper. Gizogin can be the farmer and brewer, GreatWyrmGold can do crafts and masonry, and I'm not sure about kytuzian yet. With all that figured out, let's go to work!

3 Granite
Peat! We have soil in the entrance tunnel! Unfortunately, when we tried to dig out a staircase the miners almost drowned -- there's a damned aquifer right underneath us!

AQUIFERS?!?!?

Also, can I be dorfed as one of the miners?  Give me the name of 'Gizogin XI,' but don't give me a custom profession, 'cause I won't be able to erase it on my turn (stupid mac delete button doesn't work with DF nicknaming).

Real dorf doctors wash with water AND magma. The resulting burning cauterizes the wound, and the obsidian that forms covers the wound so it can heal.
