I think that is the announcement you get anytime a building gets destroyed, or maybe it is just for statues, I don't know.  They don't really topple so much as move one square in a random direction.  But I liked the aesthetics of having my road neatly lined with statues.

I've also never seen "toppled" -- neat!  Building destroyers "destroy" floodgates and doors, they don't topple them.  Dunno about workshops.

Seems like the hydra dropped after the first bolt.. I thought they were tougher than that.  Or was it wounded before that?

Methinks the dwarves need to be dialed back a bit in strength, maybe once the military can be use more tactically.  One bolt shouldn't drop a hydra, no?

Pretty sure a bolt going through you would hurt pretty bad, monster or not. It's a Nine-Headed Lizard, not a skeleton.

As you journey to the center of the world, feel free to read the death announcements of those dwarves that suffer your neglect.

One billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the cosmos. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips, I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my veins. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk and free throw.

Well there were at least three legendary marksdwarves shooting at it simultaneously with steel bolts so it would be tough to say how many bolts it actually got.  The first bolt didn't kill it, just disabled it.

Cool.. I'm just being nitpicky really.  Gobbos are also very deadly with x-bows.  I just thought hydras could withstand like 10-20 dwarves at once.. it says a lot about the dwarves though.

No, it just says a lot about crossbows.
