Add 100 to the year, replace "fictional" with "London" (On second thoughts, don't bother.) and replace eldritch abminations with Conservative bastards and you have the setting for a book I'm attempting to write.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

That therefore gets my full support.

Oh come on now, somebody's got to like somebody elses idea as well! If each and every person has a different idea, they'll end up mashed into one by me. So far it's a western theme (think red steel 2) set in an alternate timeline in which technology started developing fairly rapidly. However, a massive government change is under way and secret messengers known as "runners" have to deliver the messages. <-- This is what you guys will get if you don't want to vote for somebody else! I'll give you guys 24 hours from now to  decide! In retrospect, that sounds pretty cool >_>

I think you misunderstood, I was supporting the western detective plot while randomly going on about a book which I may or may not write.

I'm extending the voting time by 3 hours in order to accommodate people that live in different time zones and are sleeping as of this posting. Voting ends in 3.5 hours as of the time of this post!
