So, I caught a clown..

Alright, so I was in the middle of dealing with a siege when a SECOND siege showed up. Using weapon traps and my few surviving military dwarves, I managed to fight them off.. with an unexpected.... bonus.

I  have a hallway with weapon traps, specifically for weakening large sieges. It's capped by a raised drawbridge so that it's not used unless I'm in a siege. Well, during this 2-siege... siege, the goblin leader, a & made it into the hallway. I panicked and raised the draw bridge, then built a wall in my base on the other side of some door, effectively sealing him him. My question is... what should I do with him? He's an exceedingly dangerous enemy, so I can't fight him. I can't drown him, be it with water or magma...

What if I just let him live? He's technically never going to leave my map.. so when the goblins return... will they still be mounted.....?

If you want to dispose of it, you could always dig out the area above him or construct a floor above him and collapse that.
Although assuming the clown can fly, this can be very very dangerous.

I may sound old-fashioned, but would a ballista through fortifications not work?

Doesn't subject dwarves to any direct danger, potential enhancement to your currently-existing defenses.


Another idea would be to find a way to isolate it and drop it down a pit somehow.  I don't think lemurs can fly, so if you drop it down a pit and seal it away, you can hold onto forever or until you have plans for it.  An exceptionally strong enemy that hates more than just you can make an exceptionally strong weapon of destruction in a pinch.

I know, make a system that briefly exposes dwarfs to him, then seperates him from the dwarf again, there you got the most unique medical training system.

I thought only clowns with wings can fly?

Anyway, it states that the general controls the mounts. When he/she enters your map and leaves dead or alive, mounts will never return as there is a bug on that thing.
