The dragons you'll get will be really huge, or dead due to a constant duels with champions, or civs will be destroyed by monsters. But you'll know that only in next month (if the world is pocket of course)

Won't the dragons reach their size limit after a certain point?

Also; my money is on everyone starving if you play Adventure mode. Most of the towns will probably be devoid of life. The civilisations should still exist however and it shouldn't impact Fort mode. One civ might have dominated by this point though I spose. Loadsa variables.

Hey, this picqued my curiosity and I want to give an impossibly long worldgen a go, see how far it gets.
But could you tell me where I can find this world param file? The only text file concerning world gen I have found is world_gen.

That's exactly it.
Get the worldgen you want(like, LARGE REGION for example) and then edit END_YEAR to whatever you want. You can edit a lot of the other values like this and the game will gen accordingly, even if the numbers exceed what the game has as limits.

I wonder if you can edit the DIM values... Nope. 257x257 is the maximum.
Well that is apparently an exception to the rule.
