I still play the first two fallout games, Baldur's Gate II, and a handful of awesome roguelikes provided by this website.

Also, I know how to read ASCII for DF, Cataclysm, and Cogmind.

Wow, forgot about this topic.  I wish I could add something impressive to my resume, but the only new thing I can add on there is I spent the better part of a week reverse engineering Dwarf Fortress to figure out how to force dwarves to marry because I was sick of seeing them sit at lover for years on end and stuffing them in rooms together didn't seem to be working.

I somehow succeeded (mostly with the help of the DFHack people's already extensive reverse engineering effort), but I'm more proud of applying my computer science skills to do that than anything I've done in my graduate research so far.  Seriously... viewing the raw memory and coming to the conclusion that yes, I really do understand what I'm looking at was sort of magical.  Hey, that's a pointer... wonder where it goes?  That value looks familiar... oh, that's the unit ID of another dwarf.  Hey, there's an STL Vector... assuming it's storing pointers it has 4 entries...  Let's follow it... oh, look they are pointers!  Now, where do they go...?

I think I might be on the wrong career path... hacking that was a ton more fun than trying to figure out why my stupid OpenCL implementation of a convoluted breadth first search is going slower than a CPU implementation.

I develop stonesense.

I also attempted to make a digital speedometer on my bike with an LCD screen. (It blew up, but that's not what counts)

My bathoom reading is an 800-page book that is simply a chronological chart of world history. No pictures, no depth, just reams of single-line entries about ruler births, deaths, battles, technological innovations...

It's like reading the logfile from a Paradox Interactive game for fun and profit.

I made a batch file for copying and increasing the number of saves you can have in minecraft (back when a crash meant bye-bye for your world and you could only have 5 saves at once).

I also know how to mod DF raws. Heck yeah, two-headed dragons and the like.

Not really sure if this is bragging rights, but back when Pokemon Blue and Red were new, I was one of the first ones to know Missingno., and helped spread the word in school back in the day.

I play EVE Online.

I also made a robot once, but it was for a university class and it basically had step-by-step instructions so it didn't feel like much of an achievement. But it worked!

Thunderbolt freezing the game (Curse you, Magman!)

Unfortunately, every achievement of mine is somewhat mundane, and only contributes to my feelings of inferiority.

Though I am proud that I beat Nethack 3 times. I really should put that on my resume.

Somewhat of a derail, but you are only inferior if you consider yourself to be inferior.

Another bragging right...?

Um, I remember doing the final boss in Legend of Zelda OOT (both phases) no damage.

63/60 points in the maths matriculation exam. (Abitur)
Grade 11 on a grade 4-10 scale in a maths exam (Think it was "Trigonometry & Series" or "Continuation of integral calculus").
Two 1000€ and one 70€ scholarships during the last year.
A 600€ scholarship the previous year.

Those count, right?

Now if only I could find that maths exam paper... (It might have been lost in the transition to the new apartment).
