Not sure how other people's games are going, but I just played my first two turns (turned out that tdphllips had already sent in his first.)

By the way, are we all playing the exact same map?

I'm pretty sure.

Now, are we playing the same map for all 5 rounds? I don't know. Would be interesting to do so, considering you can watch your opponent's previous matches. You would have to change your strategy every time less your opponent counter it.

But it will also be boring playing the same map. 

How long until you win by default? I'm curious on how long my opponent has to make his turn.

Hum. On our tournament game, it says I have a new turn to play, but yet when I load it, it says I'm waiting for my opponent to make his move...

Orb, mine did the same thing. I restarted the game and now it isn't telling me there's a move to be played. Try rebooting? Maybe if you do it too it'll work properly.

EDIT: So we talked around on the IRC and apparently we've got a pretty obscure bug. Volatar, as the tourney admin can you force players to forfeit their matches?

I saw that. The second one didn't go quite as I would have liked, either. (Note to self: stand, wait, then fire. Standing and then immediately issuing a fire command apparently makes the rocket guy fire at the low cover he's crouching behind while he's standing.)

Looks like an easy win for AlStar.

I can force a forfeit either way as well as forcing a restart of that game. Just tell me which games need restarts and I will do so when I am next on.

I can force a forfeit either way as well as forcing a restart of that game. Just tell me which games need restarts and I will do so when I am next on.

Something rather strange: I was apparently placed against a player called "NEW" in match # -1, which I won by default. The only thing I can figure here is that we started with an uneven number of players and I was the 'lucky' one who got a round 2 start.

This left us with 15 players, so FlyingDice gets to proceed to round 2 for free.

Indeed that is what happened. I think it chose you because you are the highest seeded (used global ranking as the seed)

My addled brain read the bolded part and ignored the rest of the sentence.  "That wants in post your ingame name in bold in this thread. I'll start it on Friday." Not sure what I was on at that time.
