I can easily set one up. Everyone That wants in post your ingame name in bold in this thread. I'll start it on Friday.

This tournament will take place on UK1 for two reasons: the majority of us seem to already play on it, and in the near future all the other servers will be merged into it anyways.

If you have not yet played a game on UK1, do so, or you will not be able to be invited. It only takes one game to show up as searchable.

Does it have to be a multiplayer game? Cause Ive played plenty of single player there, but I havent done any multiplayer games.

I understand the theory real well, but fall down in execution.  I'm like 3-12 right now.

Although one of those was "Ok, I'm in the open in the victory zone, he has a rocket launcher, I win--hey wait that wall looked like
debris".

Alpha-37 is in! I had a 10-2 win/lose record until I was put up against some guys in the 100s. (down to 11-5)
So I'm doing pretty well. I actually haven't done as many story missions though: I'm on the 10th one.

I really love the nonrandom aspect of this game: you can simulate everything, and know for a fact that your unit will win or lose a skirmish if this happens, etc. And how you still have a chance if it's 3-1 units or something if you plan it out well.

Dark Exterm. can tend to be unfair for one player. Ergo: Shotgun guy 3 paces away from a rifle.


I would honestly prefer light/dark disputed. You get different units(different strategies!), you start on opposite sides of the map, and its all about map control. Exploiting your unit composition to its best is key to victory.

I also honestly prefer light over dark. Dark tends to be more luck based, though it has its own merits.
