When has a hero ever said yes when someone offers joining the darkside, or the beast's side?

He was gradually corrupted, remember? Why don't we just talk to the farm boy and tell him that we aren't going to harm the city, that our dragon is just picking up supplies and will pay for them with a few things of venison. And then when his back is turned we flame him.

Or we can go the breaking-the-boy-into-a-non-human-slave-route. We need to capture him, torture him daily, and pretty much make his life a living hell...Course there is the chance he'll betray us, but if we make him tied to us he might not be able to. Like those magic-casting pet-humans in the Wheel Of Time...Can't remember what they're called...Demasne?

((Bit of a split there, so... capture it is.))
Your minions complete the barracks, raising your (previously unknown) cap on how many you can support to 20. Meanwhile, your dragon obediently captures the peasant, scooping him up and flying back to your tower before stopping to await orders. The thing is as obedient as a well-trained puppy... and given that it's game piece now has a terrified farmer dangling from it's mouth, it looks rather like one as well. Just... with a person in place of a bone. And scales instead of fur. Ok, it's not a perfect analogy.

I am quite disapointed at how quickly we choose our path, without considering the others.

Tell the farmer that if he serves you and becomes your apprentice, you won't destroy his town.

Also throw in that we'll actually care for the town.

Agreed.
I suppose we try to recruit him, now.

*the light blue persona reappears somewhat angrily.*

"I tried to warn them! But no, they are set in their ways. If it's up to me bear the burden of conscience, then so be it.

...

I say, let's offer the farmer a choice, then let him go-and tell him to offer the same choice to others of his village. Promise them power.

We shall attract the frustrated...the power-hungry...those who long for revenge....the scorned. And we shall give them what they want. If we must be monsters, let us at least save our wrath for those who deserve it."
