Anyway, odds are the creator of this thread is rather young. Like, younger than most places on the Internet will allow you to be. In light of that, I guess I'd go easy on him.

I lol'd reading this. It took me about three times as long as I had to mentally translate it.
Glitch has a L in it, hence the "GL" sound. GITCH sounds like something else entirely.

Hey, I'm 13, and you didn't go easy ONE OUNCE in the suggestions board when I posted about using early black-powder firearms/other siege engines a few months ago.

@ Specter513: I mostly if not always use proper grammar and spelling if possible on these forums. I probably have fairly readable posts like several other posters.

On Topic: We need pictures for proof. I need to know whether this crown had any decorations on it, if the value you said it was is true*.

Somehow I think Specter was referring to the OP - most of the other participants seem to have it more or less together. 

The language and overall discourse here does seem to be of a higher level than a lot of places, especially since so many people apparently don't have English as their first language, but they really make an effort.  Some of them I wouldn't have even known if they hadn't said something about it.

I've always thought it was kind of neat that this bunch would care enough to debate proper usage of "decimate" and point out spelling and grammar errors.
