Building a Rainbow Room...
« on: September 29, 2011, 10:35:50 pm »

So I was planning a statue garden, then I realized I could make it even better by trying to include one of every material in the walls. That should trigger a happy thought for any Dwarf who recognizes his favorite material, right? Is this plausible?

I believe only for statues and tables and furnitures.  Not floors.  But I support epilepsy rooms in general.

Don't stop there!
Place every form of every piece of furniture of every material in the room made of every material in it.
Then add every weapon/item using every material into every possible container, ALSO made of every material.

Also get a breeding pair of every type of animal, including sentients.
Also have a stockpile of forbidden booze.
The list goes on, it should be a fun project.

That didn't last long, huh? Shame, cause binary's cool. Anyway, an important message: I will be changing my names on every username based thing I use to ASCIt on/around 10/1. Consolidating, I guess you could say.

Only each other. And various vermin.
And this is one fabulous idea, rivalling only microcline deposits in it's glory.

Also get a breeding pair of every type of animal, including sentients.
And embark next to a lake or the ocean.  And build your whole fort out of wood, including an outer shell.  Then dig out under your fort.  And turn off cave-ins.  And flood the world with water.

This sounds like a great way to make dwarves exceedingly gay.

Itīs actually not a bad idea, I have loads of metal left over, and there are important dwarves who like Lay Pewter, Steel and Nickel, and a large area where my dwarves often pass through. Silver roads and metal statues is a great way to utilize that space.

Those plump helmets - they do have psychoactive side effects? Better add a hospital next in case they experience after ingesting a good mushroom meal in this mind blowing setting. I think it might cause slo-mo syndrome.
