((Sorry about the whole, he suddenly has weapons thing. I intended these weapons from the start, which is why I said his usual things. I'll PM a more full bio before tomorrow to better explain what I wrote so far. Even ALM was made for a reason. I also think I made the shotgun sound larger than it is. It's basically a sawed-off length barrel with a 4 shell tube feed, and he only really had one flashbang. Sorry about that excessive sounding weaponry, I'll watch my typing when it comes to that.))

Jamie was moving suddenly picked up his pace when he saw the sharp retort of gunfire from the area around the fog, His leather shoes pounded along against the cobblestones as he gripped the camera, moving across the cobblestones at a full sprint before heading into the fog, he snapped quite a number of pictures before heading in, A few of the distracted police line, how the fog seemed to creep across the cobbles like living tendrils, All before walking into the fog himself. He held the camera with one hand and with the other he reached into his greatcoat and into his armpit feeling the reasuring grip of the .38 revolver he kept from a previous life. He then walked into the fog, spotting a man with a quite impressive looking revolver, and a very nervous looking teenager. Taking care not to be scene, Slice of life shots were the best, Jamie took a kneel, snapping a few pictures of both the man and the teenager before directing his camera towards the patch of fog the man had the weapon pointed. "This should be a interesting... He thought to himself

Normally Tor would be trying to breathe deeply and relax, but with the poisonous air filling his lungs with each inhalation the last thing he wanted to do was cough at the wrong moment.

Another scream erupted from the mist, cutting across Tor's ears like a handful of rocks on a broken blackboard. Forty feet.

A shadowy form became visible, misshapen and bent but lumbering with surprising speed. Thirty feet. The creature was a hideous mix of human and... not. Face and legs were warped but otherwise normal, it's body was a nightmarish mash of bone and muscle, only tentatively covered by a shredded pink breast cancer awareness tee. Twenty feet.

Tor looked the creature in the eyes, they were bright and blue, set in a face that seem twisted between rage and agony. Mad dogs tearing at a mad world of screams and blood.

Fifteen feet.

One shot. Tor thought grimly and squeezed the revolver's trigger just as one of the creature's arms reached out to tear him limb from limb.

The .357 slug went straight through the twisted human's gaping mouth and tore a hole the size of a child's clenched fist through the back of its head where spine met skull. The thing spasmed in mid strike, it's knees giving way even as Tor and the kid threw themselves in opposite directions to avoid the sheer battering ram force of the creature dying.

Tor gritted his teeth in pain as his pad knee hit the pavement and sent a shock of agony through his leg, he was getting too damn for this job. Limping his way up onto his good knee Tor leveled the pistol at the creature again from a kneel but it only twitched in the death throes of sudden demise.  Pulling himself up to this feet Tor's revolver slammed out another heavy slug into the creature's skull, no way in hell he wanted that thing to get up later and just be pissed off at him.

"Not bad kid. Drinks on me if we live to meet under better circumstances." Tor said to the pale teen "Police line is down the street that way, and you don't want to follow me where I'm going."

((Guessing on the sliding scale of toughness vs numbers that these things weigh in on the side of numbers))

Jamie had tied a rather well used handkerchief around his mouth as he waited crouched for the subject he had really wanted to see and that the editors would die for. God I've been on stakeouts longer than this...Where is the damn- He was thinking to himself before the roar was let out, Jamie tensed his shoulders as the thuds grew louder, with a flick of this thumb he turned the camera to a rapid shutter setting. He wanted to see every second of this. His forefinger seemed to be made out of iron as the beast crashed towards the armed man. It was hideous. He would get paid well for this. He held the frame as the man seemed to calmly end the beast with a single slug like how a expert hunter snuffed the charging buffalo.

Intresting..
Jamie moved the fog in a low crouch,His thin soled shoes finally coming in handy as he took more photo's of the pair, After-Action shots usually paid well also. Once he thought the got enough shots for the editor to get off his back he pointed the lens at the ground and hunched his shoulders, waiting for the pair to move away from the corpse.

((Uh. I am Paparatzi'ing Draignean and Powder, I only got a few glancing shots of the police barrier before sneaking in.)

Robert covered his mouth with his sleeve as he walked through the fog, he figured it probally wasn't a good idea to inhale a mysterious red fog. He clumsily stumbled around in the darkness until he felt a door handle, he opened the door and stepped inside. Seem's like he was in the lobby of an apartment building. The first thing he noticed besides being in an apartment building, was the overwhelming stench of dead bodies. He quickly stepped out of the building and continued on his way.

After about, five minutes? An hour? He couldn't tell, it was hard to tell what time it was in the fog. He began to hear gunshots and yelling very close to him. Suprised that he got so close to a person without even noticing, he decided the best thing to do was to run away from a person shooting a gun blindly into the darkness. He jumped behind a neary dumpster and saw the man continuing to shoot a revolver at seemingly nothing, and there seemed to be another younger man with him.

He yelled out "Hey buddy! What the hell are you shooting at!".

It seemed that particular part of this terror had passed, and Alex thanked the man before starting off to his apartment. Then he heard some guy ask bout what the man was shooting at. "...IT was some sort of monster... Human mutated beyond repair. I don't think you want to know."

"What the hell now..." Tor growled as he turned to face in the direction of the new speaker before he called back out. "Anything with a surplus of limbs, you feel like showing yourself?"

Tor had wanted this to be clean and simple, having more people to watch over would make finding the truth in this literal haze that much harder... Still, he couldn't leave anyone out here at the mercy of these... things.

Confused Robert yell's back "Mutants? There was absolutely nothing out here, I think this fog is messing with your head.".

As a matter of fact, he was positive there were very few mutants in the United States considering the government kept a tight leash on those projects.

A police line? That didn't keep Damien out for long. Leaving his motorcycle in an alley, he vied for a roof approach due to two things. One, there aren't any Cops up on the roofs. Second, whatever is screeching like animal is probably gonna be on the ground, not jumping roof to roof.

Nothing he could do about the fog, maybe his motorcycle helmet could provide some protection if it's dangerous. And some protection from whoever decided to get a little trigger happy down there. Then again, they say they've shot something that wasn't human anymore. He peers over into the street from the roof, listening.

"Well then, I guess we've got a dead six foot tall broad with serious fucking acne problems then, granted I've never seen acne grow claws and try to kill me before." Tor shouted back. "I've got a wounded man here, and I don't think he got itchy and scratched himself bloody. You can come over and have a look if you've got something resembling medical experience."

((Also, if no ones getting the hint the fog is suppose to have odd halucination effects. Considering I never had a chance to introduce the planned enemy :P))

((I get the hint but we've already got two people with wounds... Perhaps the creatures only exist in the fog and thus their existence would appear to be a hallucination when the fog disappears? The current plot is too much like that new batman movie to me.... :P ))
