"If you have an idea, speak it now."

"Nope, but whats the bounty on 'Prince'?"

"There is none, considering the fame one would get for nailing that bastard."

"Is it illegal to accidently injure a prisoner while he was trying to flee?"

[Taricus]

"No penalty if it's accidental..."

"What about if you shot him in the leg with a crossbow while he was trying to run off?"

[Taricus]

"I can't exactly charge myself over something like that, now can I?"

He lets out a brief chuckle, then takes another swig of his drink.

"Would you charge me if I did it?"

[Taricus]

"In most cases, I would. However, considering this is the crow, I could, say, Say it was accidental or self-inflicted..."

"I think our conversation is at an end, Arven... I bid you good luck in your ventures..."

William stood and gestured to his soldiers, who followed him out. Once he was out of earshot from the bar, William turned and addressed Hugo.
"How good are you at wood-carving, Poppet?

It took some time before he was notified, as he was searching the high spaces and rooftops, but apparently Avitus had another lead for Nikephoros. The man proves to be more useful than one would assume, he thought.

"Ok men, the old tower or something supposedly is the place. One team stays and continues the search, I will take the other group and grab some people from the streets around the tower. We are gonna find this flying rat no matter what!"

Head to the tower where the Avitus is. Take men with me.

"How good are you at wood-carving, Poppet?

"Wood carving? I dabble. I could probably out-carve half the carpenters in this city. Then again, it depends on what you want carved."

Avitus had been trying to dislodge the torrent door with his guard for fifteen minutes without much success when he saw Nikephoros and his men coming towards them.  "Ah, some helpful hands, at last. Good to see you General. Would you and your men mind giving me a hand with this door? While we're at it I could explain why I think this is the place.

[Ardas]

"Heh, its been a while since I was sieging any town or fort. But this place will do."
He then turned to his soldiers:

"Fetch someone to go to the barracks and bring a big solid log. We are going to batter down the doors. We also need crowbars and rope and hooks."

He went back to Avitus.
"Do you suspect there might be something here? I still got my regiment in this quarter, looking through every hole and crack. It would be a shame if all we find in there is just a pile of refuse."
