Predictably, there was a infantry unit hiding in those woods. All the armor in the world doesn't help when you have an open top.

It's not often that the Res Publica requires a full strength Consular Army to accomplish her goals but damn is it epic when she does.

I don't have any screenshots of the battle itself but it was quite epic, the Carthaginians (Lead by a Greek General with a retinue of Spartan bodyguards)didn't pull any punches and victory weighed heavily on my Tribune leading the Calvary through a crumbling flank and conducting several attacks at the rear.  Eventually came down my Triarii facing down the enemy General in a good old fashioned Hoplite-Off as the rest of the Carthaginian forces broke and started routing.

Arkham City is indeed an amazing game, I seriously cannot get enough of snapping bad guy's limbs, dislocating their joints, smashing their skulls or delivering gut-churning nut-punch finishers.

And too, for a good "KAPOW" super-hero effect you most take the shot after the hit, when the bad dude react to the hit. like that.

Man, modded (As much as it can be modded) ETW is a much better game then Shogun 2.

Of course the musket firing sounds in Empires of Destiny are just so amazing, when a your whole line opens up its OH GODS AWESOME. >_>

The Cannon sounds are pretty awesome too, especially when you get huge naval battles like the second screenshot. (18 ships on both sides, as you can see I took casualties, though most were just surrenders)
