Correct me if I'm wrong on anything.

Full body skin melting results in death. Suturers don't operate on the dead.

Fine, injure them as much as possible without killing or crippling them.

The Adamantine threads will be available once she dies... I have some first hand experience here. I once gave 3 of my guys who were patched up with adamantine threads a choice: die or be worth what you're wearing, by facing sieges alone wearing only copper(I had nothing but copper so I really valued adamantine in that fort).

I don't think the stitches do anything to protect the dwarf.

Yeah, but imagine it in 3D, a Dwarf covered in shining candy.  And they might be able to be modded to protect the dwarf, and if so, a certain dwarf with enough stitches could become indestructible.

I'm still stuck on "leg is dented", what the heck does that mean? Is this Medical Dwarf qualified? One of my guys was bitten by a crocodile and they said his leg was dented.

That's a really common injury when I play as a Bronze Colossus adventurer, I guess it's like a really deep bruise.

Didn't know Nerds ropes could be used as suture. Huh.

I can't imagine how this actually works... candy makes the best edges, right? It's like surturing some poor sot's leg with uber-sharp-piano wire. Attempting to pull the wound closed after stitching would cut straight through the flesh...

On a fleshy creature, a "dented" body part basically means a really big scar.

I'd imagine it's more like stapling the skin together with needles than traditional stitches. Regarding the adamantine clad dwarves, you could do that rather easily if you really wanted. In fact you could make it so that it was only a very small caste of dwarves that had it.

Definitly need a mod for Doctors to replace broken bones with Candy... and to forge some Knuckle-Dagger weapons.

Suturers don't operate on the dead.

I'm sure someone can fix that with a little modding.

Actually, if she dies, the stitches will drop. There's adamantine thread layin' around.

(I found this out when a child with sutures died in a previous fort of mine, which fell to a goblin leader demon. A child had gotten injured earlier when he was doing some deconstruction work on an Animal Powered Watch Tower. Broken spine, borked legs, whole deal. He died due to infection, and there was thread laying around where he died.)

Just kill 'er!

Can reactions create "living" creatures?

Add one Dwarf corpse, some metal and come out with a monster?
