Conchobar heads into a tavern that hopefully has one of his companions in it and buys some ale, he has been sober for far too long. As he drinks, he carves runes and engravings into his lute.
[5] You walk into a nearby tavern, and luckily enough out of all of the taverns in the city this one has your companion in it. You greet IronyOwl, and then buy a mug of ale for 2 Gold.[3] After your drink you pull out your carving knife and you begin to carve dwarven runes into your flute, of course they're only for show. You were never really adept at rune carving anyways.

Leave, questioning the validity of the offer and look for a better job.
[3] You get angry and yell "How dare you offer this small amount of money to me! I am an artist, I deserve higher pay!". The innkeeper calls for his guards and a few minutes later your limping away from the tavern.[4] You begin searching for another job, and luckily for you a traveling circus is looking for a temporary bard for a quick show. After completion of the job you'll get 15 gold pieces.

[2] No jobs in sight, its actually really hard for a bard to make a living in this city! There are just way to many bards, perhaps you should make some friends in higher places?

[5] Your a bard, but that doesn't mean you can't crack a few skulls! You find a tavern that is in need of a bouncer, and luckily you get hired. The inkeeper will pay you depending on your performance, which is a bit odd.

Talagra probably has some Ogre in her, but it actually enhances her mystique...to certain people!

Bio: Grisnakh was your average goblin, sneaking around the caves, although he was exceptionally good at concealment, except one day. He decided to come out the goblin-caves and see the world. Eventually, he decided to become a bard. He may not be the prettiest or the one with the nicest voice, but he figured it would give him the outlet he needed to travel around and get money, treasure, and fame, possibly killing a few annoying people along the way.

Bio: Sillius is the son of a hero and a barmaid, and the former often visited him while making the rounds of all his children. He'd bring gifts (usually manly ones, like wooden swords), stories (usually even manlier ones, like how he challenged a dragon to an arm-wrestling contest), and encouragement to grow up and become a true (very manly) champion. Sillius is proud to do just that, and while he may be somewhat more talk than action, there's little doubt that he at least looks and sounds like a bold, daring, courageous hero. His cleft chin and impressive physique help quite a bit with that, but he's clearly got charisma to spare besides. This has gotten him in trouble on more than one occasion, however; he was "captured" not long ago, and managed to pick up the local language in the process before escaping.
