To take screenshots:
1. Make sure DF is the topmost window.
2. alt-PrintScreen (or whatever abbreviation your keyboard uses)
3. Open Paint, if not already open.
4. ctrl-v
5. Save as [whatever name you want].
6. Open your web browser, if not already open.
7. Go to tinypic.com or some other picture uploading site.
8. Upload the picture.
9. Use the formattey thing to post your pictures. I like tinypic because it automatically determines he right format...tey thing.
10. ???
11. USE MEMES!
12. PROFIT!

It's already been several days since we've heard anything. I say give it until Monday, and in the meantime we can be talking about possible embarks. If nothing else, it might stir up some ideas for a separate/future game, if Haps has already started something and gets back with it before Monday.

That said, I think an evil volcano would be pretty rad, although I've never had any luck finding one in the worlds I've genned.

Looking at the original post, I think Slappy already embarked, it's just that we haven't heard word of any of the exploits (if any) that have occurred yet.

Sorry that i didn't update in a (LONG.) while guys and i have not REALLY started yet but i WILL now make up for it next week (SOOOOO sorry for all of these delays, i really want to do this fortress so i will do as much as i can. And if i don't finish by next saturday i will let someone else host the fortress.) :(

Weeeelll, I actually genned a world after I suggested that, and lo and behold: terrifying volcano.

Also, like a quarter of the world is evil, and another quarter is frozen. I'm not sure why; apart from dialing up the number of volcanos, it was pretty vanilla.  ???

Anyway, perhaps for another game, when it's not our turn at this one? I'm going out of town this weekend, but I could maybe fire something up come Monday.

Sorry if I'm threadjacking, by the by; just figured I'd mention it since it sounds like there's a bit of potential interest.

Edit: One minor hitch is, there are no neighboring civs, which I guess means no sieges or trading with anyone besides the Mother Country. Though I think there are also a couple of freezing volcanoes on the map with neighbors available, as an alternative. Not evil, but pretty high savagery, as I recall.

It's a 100% mountain biome embark. No neighbors, and for some (related?) reason, you can't embark there.

Not very dorfy at all, I say. I neither noticed the lack of embarkability, nor would I have guessed, given the option to guess. [ENTITY:MOUNTAIN], my eye.

Ah, well; the hunt for a scary volcano shall continue another day, I suppose.
