So, hey.
This looks like an interesting thing.
Speaking on behalf of people who thinks this looks like an interesting thing, the game thread is massive, confusing, and unfriendly. Now, I have no life whatsoever, but reading through 57+59 (max size) pages just to catch up on what the flying fudge is going on seems a little off-putting.
On the other hand, I can clearly see that the game so far created a vast and varied world, basically organically (?). And throwing that away would just be a waste.
Which is to say, a new game in the same world seems like it would be the most awesome option. If a 100-year timeskip would take people too far from what they have already created (and/or the timeperiod they feel comfortable in), a slightly shorter (50-year?) timeskip might be a better option?

We have a wiki, though it doesn't have that much stuff. As we seem to be heading to the Storm Coast for the new game, let me direct you to the Storm Coast, and its Duchy of Vasir and Republic of Groan pages.

EDIT: And I just realized Vasir is only beginning its road to independence 100 years ago, if we do the prequel-thing. I like my character idea even more now!

But whilst I'm not sure what the deal is exactly with (semi-)immortals all up ins, 100 years is enough to kill of everyone else, end all wars, redistribute all territory, and completely change any culture. Especially if that timeskip contains the start of the renaissance. That shit was crazy bananas.

Yeah, I saw. I read most of the nation things in that to give myself a general idea of what was going on; but the important things (the things which would become irrelevant with a timeskip) are the little details. Which can't really be conveyed in any other way than being there as they happen. :/

in any case that leaves us with many variables from the previous game, What about Game Trubaldsome and his soon to be Shadeling Army, what about the Weylands, what about Miring? What about a veryyyy propable Crusade between Brighthall,Suul and Elbereth,Miring,Weylands?

Not to scare off any newcomers or saying that a new game would be crap but these are still open endings with many possibilities and varieties which will change the Face of the Mirish Coast enormously and will affec the Storm Coast too...

The Elbrethian Imperium is keeping alien forces at bay while rouge trader Hans tries to make a living. Various planetary nobles vie for power in the Storm Nebula, while brother Taricus has fallen to chaos and slaughters his way to some noble's quarters.

If you do this I will take part from the start, no questions asked. I'd even be willing to act as an impartial-GM from the get-go regardless of how much work that'd take me. It's just too awesome to not do.
