What exactly is procedurally generated? Its "only" the world or even things like spells, materials, enemies...?

Everything you mentioned but the spells, which are still indirectly in some ways given how you collect/craft commodities. You explore on the world map and regions generate as they are revealed. Once you enter a region it will place all objects, monsters and all that in its own procedure-y way.

Not as such no, modding in the strictest sense of the word is probably not in the cards. That said a lot of custom story items and other stuff are being prepped for players to be able to create their own content.

I am afraid not. there is huge inconsistency in the graphic style, let alone quality, and the animations, in most cases, just feel off.

I think the most important is to scale the user interface at least 50% bigger and define graphical and mechanical hierarchies.

Really could use a stop walking animation, its so very abrupt in stopping it looks bad. I'm ok with the graphics though, they look a bit off in some places but they aren't terrible.

Steam really is my preferred system; it's a VERY rare non steam game that I buy (I reformat often and it saves key-related headaches).
