Have him be attacked by honey badgers, then dump magma on him, then atom smash him with a bridge. Then it's properly dwarfy.

Of course magma isn't a cure for fun!  It's a primary source of fun!
But doncherknow?
The only proper solution to a solid overdose of !Fun! is to add a second, separate type of !Fun!, in an equally large dose, to the problem!
Got goblins? Add magma! Got magma? Add flood. Got flooding? Add HFS. Got HFS? Add a tantrum spiral. Got a tantrum spiral? Add goblins!
... This Isn't necessarily the only order this could apply.
And now I'm wondering if a sufficiently large number of goblins could cool a 10x10x2 pool of magma enough to turn it to stone.
This calls for !!SCIENCE!!

There is a difference between sadistic and dwarvenly actions?

Dwarvenly actions usually involves MAGMA while sadistic actions do not.

So here I am, logging into the Bay12 Forums.  I'm not sure whether to feel happy about this, or sullenly admit the loss of what little remained of my soul after all of this Fun.  So much Fun.  So, so much Fun.  <shudders>
First things first.  You're all soulless husks of what might have once been decent human beings, drafted into a sort of moral apartheid from your better natures in the pursuit of things made out of cute animals.  I love it.

The way I see it is as follows:

Sadism is sadism, and dwarvenly.
Add MAGMA to sadism, it is only dwarvenly.

So a thing can be both sadistic and dwarvenly, but only if it doesn't involve magma.

And now I'm wondering if a sufficiently large number of goblins could cool a 10x10x2 pool of magma enough to turn it to stone.

Think of all the potentially lost goblinite!

Naked goblins, of course. Goblin santa came with the goblin presents during goblin christmas, and once you unwrap the gifts you throw the wrapping paper in the disposal.

But... the bones! The gibs! The combat experience! Their equipment isn't the only resource they come with!

Fill the magma with so many goblins that their bones turns it into white magma.

then what is the solution for a magma-flood leaded by goblins riding HFS, while you are in the middle of the tantrum spiral?

Obviously the answer is to apply magma to the tantrumming dissenters.

Apply magma to the tantrummers, water to the magma, cave-ins to the HFS and... magma to the goblins...

Sadistic actions bring pleasure to the inflicter.  Dwarvenly actions bring glee.

When a dwarf mason is walled into a filling magma cistern with no escape the only fair thing to do is enable engraving on him and allow him to spend his final moments making engravings of burning dwarves eating cheese in the magma cistern
