Silver Wind clamps down on its leg, and the Minotaur roars in pain once again as blood begins to flow down his leg from the new wound. Silver Wind quickly dashes away from the Minotaur getting out of its range to protect its friend while he healed the wounded man.

The Shadow Knight regains its composure from the devastating attack unleashed on it, and strikes at the Minotaur with blazing fast speed. The blade connects with its shoulder, and tears all the way through its arm before swiftly coming across, and leaving a long scratch across the Minotaur's face.

You charge over to your wounded ally, and quickly recite a prayer in the hope of saving his life, and as you finish the ground shakes, and a green spear bursts through the earth striking the soldier in the heart, and quickly withdrawing beneath ground once again. The soldier immediately jumps up after he falls on the ground, and looks at his chest where the wound is slowly fading away. As you stand their a voice in your head says
"You have saved a soul from the brink of death, and whilst this is a great deed the price is heavy, and now you must pay for it." Black Spears smash through the ground, and pierce you through your arms, and legs for a mere second before shattering leaving you lying on the ground bleeding, and with much of your energy drained.

You rip your sword out, and it falls to the ground dead, but as it falls a small blue orb flows out of its mouth, and into yours.
You will find out what happened later, but for know its a secret.
EveryoneThe Guard who almost died comes over, and says "I am Hilson, and Captain of theses men here we think you for your help, but must be on our way. The Daemons have already made it into city, but those are the weakest ones whose Spiritual power could not be detected. The real dangers come from outside the Main Gate, and if we do not hold them there many innocent lives will be sacrificed. Now if you wish to come follow me otherwise make your way to the Inner Wall, and help prepare the defenses there for when the intruders alreayd in the city come to kill our people."
With that he turns, and walks away with his men following not far behind. For now you have the same options as before, but can now proceed to the Inner Gate if you wish to help them prepare for the weaker foes already within the city.

You find a ladder to the rooftops nearby, and scramble up it to the top of one of the shops where you hide behind a sign before looking for a way to continue onward. You find a path, it being a row of shops to your left leading right to the Guards. You jump up, and toss two apples at the Daemons the first barely hits one of their shoulders, but the second nails one in the head, and it topples over. With that you turn, and run barely dodging a fireball as it flies past you. You continue running across the roofs of the shops with the entire group of Daemons not far behind.
Two turns until you reach the Guards, also you only got one regiment of the Daemons chasing you the other is still in the marketplace. Also if they catch up to you it will be around 200 vs. 1, so be wary of your actions until you meet up with the guards. I also forgot to let you choose one trick from a list of three, so here they are.
Tricks:
1.) Short Fire Breath - This is one of the basic skills of a street performer used to entertain children, and even at times protect you from creatures of the night. (Trick Cost - 1; Effect: Gives you the ability to breath fire as a free action for five turns. Damage is determined by a 1d8)
2.) Smoke Screen - This is one of those tricks a Performer keeps secret specifically for that dumb bandit who decides to attack you for your money. With this a Performer would blind the attacker, and take advantage of their blindness to finish them off. (Trick Cost - 2; Effect: Blinds all Foes in the same area as you, and allows each of your strikes to have a chance for a critical hit.
3.) Dagger Toss - Another Basic Performer trick, but this one involves a simple knife which you can throw with precision accuracy at your foe. (Trick Cost - 1; Effect: Can be used as a free action, and will always hit dealing 1d4 damage with a critical chance roll.)

You stay in the crowd, and remain unnoticed as you walk up the streets, and you also here two of the guards talking about some Daemon Invasion of the city. They also say that the battle is beginning to turn in the Daemons favor, and the Main Gates of Bright Gate which have not fallen for a thousand years may fall on this day. From this you know things are bad, an realize that this battle will be a close one, as well as a long, and bloody one taking many of these people's live.
