Adventures of a Slightly Insane Bisexual Crossdresser
« on: September 24, 2011, 04:11:11 pm »

Greetings. A few things you should know:
I hated some of my previous forum games and abandoned them because I used stupid stat systems and what not. Now, this will be a more role-playish thing. Enjoy.
Keep insanity to a reasonable level.
Feel free to start a cult and die.
I'll be using a Hexographer to show you WHERE YOU ARE.
Ocean may appear on the map where land may be. Who knows what be there?
If you try travel off the end of the world you'll be eaten by Moby Dick. Get over it.

The X marks where you are. It's hard to see, because the marker is underneath the town marker. But basically, you are in a town in the north of the country you live in. The town is called Hillsly, and, incase you've forgotten what country you're in- it's Iorath, ruled by its proud king and queen. You've just reached what your culture considers to be adulthood - the age of seventeen. And you've decided it's finally time to make your mark on the world, in some way or other.

Your country is a fairly young one - but with the whole of the island colonized except for the forested south east, which is said to contain horrible monsters in the dense heart of the forest.

In your current state, you seem to have enough equipment to begin on your adventure- whether it be abroad, whether it be into the pockets of the rich, or into the heart of the terrifying forest which has resisted human colonization for centuries.

But before you seek glory, what is.. your name?

Hmm, lets get two votes in any choice before we do it.

Also, I don't like the name "Adventures of a Slightly Insane Fellow". I decided these adventures could be humorous, but I think I will change the name.

You once again turn to the "Quests" board, and study the "quest" for more information. Noting its location down, you head to the docks. On your way there, nothing interesting happened.

You enter the Naval Recruitment Centre, and spot a middle aged man at a desk, who you assume to be the recruiter. Walking up to him, you ask him about employment in the navy in the new expedition. He responds - "Yes, there is a fleet of ships heading North. We'll also be willing to grant you a good sized plot of land, if we find a large new land. The fleet will be leaving in around a month - that will be enough time to finish training you. While you're training, we'll provide you with a place to stay, and food. You'll be training for about six hours a day. Do you want to join?"

Depends. What sort of montage rate do they offer?

I'm sorry I don't know about this, but what is a Montage Rate? I searched for what it is, but I just got tons of youtube links saying "Please rate my montage". I know what a montage is, but not what a montage rate is.

I think he's asking how many training montages we get if we join. Or how frequent.

"How long will I be training for?" you ask.
"Well, you'd normally be training for around two weeks before you joined. After that, you'll just have to come here only a few hours every day until the fleet is ready to set off."
Will you join?

You accept. "Good. Sign this form." After you sign them, you are sent to training, which started not long ago...

Later, after lessons, you arrive at the lunch hall after training for a while. You've began to learn about manning a ship, and you've also learnt a little about using a weapon.

You are hungry and thirsty, and you see they are serving some sort of nasty soup today. There are pitchers of water on the numerous tables at which other people eat.

Scoff down the soup and wash it down with water before the taste hits you.
