As you examine the triangle, the shopkeeper approaches you. "Aha, I see you are looking at THE CHAOSAIGLE. When you sound it, it creates a random effect from THE BOOK OF CHAOS. That book come free with the triangle. The triangle itself costs three hundred cents. Interested?"

Every few miles, [the dwarves] stop the cart.  One of the dwarfs (sic) gets off, digs a hole down below the dirt layers, licks the bedrock, and then they know exactly where they are.  It's called GPS: Geological Piquancy Sampling.

"3 cents? Sure I'll take it", hand him the 3 cents and walk out ignoring his protests, go back later and demand he give you the book

"Three cents? Sure, I'll take it." you say, forcing three cents into his hand. You quickly run out, completely ignoring what he was saying.

You stand outside, wondering what you will do next.

Well our chaosailgle could be mistaken for a triangle so shucks, play that instead and tell everyone that it's a triangle even if it looks completely different. Also insist it sounds like a triangle if it doesn't to everybody you meet.

No, no. You never took the Chaosangle (because I accidently spelt Angle wrong, whoops). Were you meant to? Whoops.

Remember to steal the book of chaos as well. Sing to the shopkeeper about how your not actualy stealing anything.

OR

Play the chaosangle and hope it kill the shop keeper or allows you to get the chaosangle without paying.

You run in, reach for the chaosangle, saying "Forgot this." The shop keeper runs forward, and pushes you away from it, and grabs it. "Look, pal, this is worth a damn lot of shiny pennies. Still, if you are that desperate, there is work to be done, if you are interested.."
