Better than the two main parties anyway...Well ethically and morally. Doubt that the economical side of things would go well with all the differing opinions and beliefs. Meh.

Oh, it will be funny when the party does get enough votes to form a government and then nothing gets done for the next 4 years.

Then again, it's not like the economical side of things is going well with the current guys, right?

Just vote for the Australian Sex Party. Yes it is real. Surprisingly realistic demands for the most part, too.

Course not. Which is why we need an AI for PM :D.

They are particularly realistic and I like most of their policies, but I'm 15:\

Some neat photos from Portugal.  Just going to put them on here directly, since I can't figure out how to link to the album.  I really don't like what Google has done with their image hosting format.

Being in black and white makes it 300% more artistic.

The riot cop in that second picture looks like an overblown scifi antihero.  The Guy Fawkes numbskulls actually look like they're halfway coordinated when they're in black and white, with hats and proper masks.

Yeah the 2nd image is crazy over-dramatic in an awesome way.  I also like how in the 4th image they're using those internet stick figures that are everywhere now (where the hell did those come from, anyway?).

I should also mention that my wife surprised me with a Guy Fawkes mask the other day.  I was very amused.

I am fan of how internet culture is affecting the protests, even if its just a "Challenge Accepted" sign its still awesome.

Hey, what company was it that manufactures those masks? I want to see if I could possibly invest in it. I'm not sure if that's ironic or just deeply stupid, but whichever, I want in, I say having no experience with investments of any kind.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Same here.

Last image made me seriously wibble, though.

I believe Time Warner owns the rights and gets most of the money from sales of Guy Fawkes masks.

There's a lot of different manufacturers.  Here in America at least, there's a dozen different knockoff manufacturers who started stamping out low quality copies of that style after they suddenly because the universal symbol of I'm Mad As Hell etc for people under 30.

I gotta admit, seeing Challenge Accepted and Y U NO on protest signs makes me chuckle.

Ah, yeah, I guess, but that leaves one who sides with neither the left nor the right to no longer have a name on the scale.

Centrist?

As in Centrist on left/right, but towards Anarchism but not as extreme as Anarchism. Liberal is slightly towards Anarchism but Left, Libertarian is apparently slightly towards Anarchism but Right. Libertarian USED to be "Anarchism" on that chart, at least it was a few years back.

This is making me angry. They either found a really stoned or really stupid person on the streets, or hired a bad actor, to discredit the protests by appealing to the misconception that the only people who protest are stoners and idiots.
