A very cool idea.

Also, I am a KSP boss.  8)

Windows Steel Panther Main battle tank?
Its a nice RTS with hexes and with custom games possible and PBEM also. Has low requirements and isn't too big of a download.
Just throwing it out there.

Yes, please.
Its a nice RTS
It's not Real Time. It's not even simultaneous-turn-based. It's the very image of traditional IGOUGO model (you know, like a board game- Risk or chess etc.) It's also less "Strategy" and more "tactics". There is no gathering resources in this game, no acquiring prestige, no buying reinforcements or upgrades. Instead you have finite forces, which will die and rout, and never be replaced or supplemented (except between missions during a campaign.)

I tried to play chess but two of my opponents were playing competitive checkers as a third person walked in with Game of Thrones in hand confused cause they thought this was the book club.

Classic WW2 TBS, and it's free?  DO WANT.  Next time I play around in that setting, very yes.

Classic Post-WW2 TBS, and it's free
SPMBT has helicopters, ATGMs, air support that actually does anything and covers a much wider time period (1946-2020, so modern battles are in).
Though I guess I would be up for SPWWII too.

Blast Doors

You live in a post-apocalyptic wasteland and try to fight off your neighbors by crushing their tanks using a very *fun* arsenal of weaponry. It's old, but man oh man did I have some fun times with that game.

It's not Real Time.
Alright alright you got me there I may have fumbled a word or two in my post.
If there are enough freeware games I may drop in once in a while to watch/steal your ingenious tactics.
Maybe even try and help if I like the game.
