for the sake of keeping a healthy, chill atmosphere, i'd rather not have you criticize other's posts, even the stupidest ones. If you feel somebody is particularly annoying just ignore them. If you think their idea is flawed, share your opinion in a polite manner and be cautious not to offend anyone. Use smileys if you must!

I'm sorry, but I just cannot and won't do that. My natural response to stupidity is criticism. I severely dislike stupidity, and even more when it's repeated.

And as for being polite... I'm going to be honest, that is not my personality type. I am not Deon. And I likely never will be for a long time. And I don't use smiles unless I have a particularity strong emotion or I feel like my post can either be offensive or not depending on how people read it. Hence why I almost never use a normal smile.

I do not aim to be a jerk, but I do not aim to be a angel either.

i'm sorry that you feel that way, but this is my thread and i'll moderate it as i see fit, i hope you understand that and adapt your behavior to my guidelines.
This goes for everyone: if i feel your contributions to the thread are disruptive i will ask you to stop, if you insist on continuing to be disruptive i'll ask you to stop participating on the thread temporarily, and if you do not comply, i'll have to bother toady, and i'm sure nobody wants to interrupt the man's work with these pesky problems.

What do you mean i can't name them both Barnicle?

As the Sun closes in on the horizon, the pixes begin to prepare for the Night.
Alice and Ibid go to the Shelter early, apparently eager to have some time alone with each other. Dmitri is obsessed with the Stone Sparks he observed, and sits by the Shelter with two Rocks trying to understand their secrets.



Elkori is fearful of the Bacriture Pups, and sets herself to build a Pen to restrain them.



She uses the last couple of hours of daylight to gather a few Large Branches

Angris spends his time throwing Rocks at a Sapling and being generally obnoxious.



After a while the Pups start to fetch the Rocks and returning them to Angris. Angris becomes more comfortable with his Throwing skills, and the Pups learn to Fetch

After about an hour banging the Rocks together, Dmitri notices a few sparks fell on the Pile Underbrush gathered in front of the Shelter, and a small column of Smoke starts to rise from it: there's a tiny Ember blazing in the pile.



He shouts for the others to come see, and notices the Embers shine brighter with his breath. He blows on it for a while



And soon enough he has a Small Fire that is burning rapidly. Dmitri has discovered a new Talent: Firestarter, and takes up the Vocation of Inventor

Elkori has gathered a pile of Large Branches

Angris informs the others he has named the pups Barnicle. The others complain it's not proper to name them both the same, and he grumpily agrees to change Barnicle's name to Arniebacle.

The Sun has set. It's Comfortably Warm by the Fire. The Fire is running out of Fuel. Ibid and Alice are Asleep.Dmitri is Tired, and the others ate are Very Tired.

Talents:
  Special Long Range Sight: The character can see further than what's shown on the bitmaps.
  Rage Enhanced Superstrength: When, for some reason, the character feels annoyed, he becomes capable of great feats of strength.
  Incredible Manliness: The character is incredibly arrogant and stubborn. Use with copious ammounts of creativity and a pinch of humor.
  Insightfulness: The character is a philosopher well versed on the mechanics of "reality", use this to gain some meta-knowledge explained in character.
  At Peace with Herbivores: The character has decided to go Ivertebratovegetarian. Somehow the animals know it, and aren't threatened by his presence. Predators still pose a threat.

  Chief:Is capable of mobilizing all characters (that weren't yet given orders by other posters) to work on a single project.
  Crafter:Is capable of creating Tools out of Materials. It's theoretical invention is attributed to Dmitri the Philosopher of Green, but the first ever to put it to practice was one of his disciples.
  Shaman: a hypothetical vocation that is believed to be possible, but has never actually been observed. Supposedly, a shaman can contact the spirits, questioning them about future luck, and is even capable of requesting good fortune. It's existence has been proposed by Ibid the Chief.
  Hunter: Is capable of recognizing and following animal tracks, and excels in chasing wild animals.

 Night has set, it's time to sleep. Dmitri slept through the morning, so he isn't as tired as the others.
