I personally think MAYDAYS tile-set is much prettier to look at.

It does not appear to be a tileset problem, but instead a problem with how the classes interact during world generation.

First of all all those "path fail" errors, are certainly not crashing your game and just tend to accumulate as you play. More likely it looks like the, uhhhh, everything of the dwarf creature is messed up and it's basically not capable of generating the dwarf creature as a result. Not sure why it's crashing because of that, but fixing it is a good start.

Best bet is to wait for the guy that made the mod to see your message and fix it.

That's what I'm doin'.  Until then, another fresh install and transfer of Orosmlo (the only world I'm deeply invested in, the others are just taking space) into the new install, heh.

Remember when you get the world fixed: Go deep or go home. Warm stone is good stone.

As soon as  I finish arming my axedwarf squad, I'm definitely going down.  I want to find warm stone, too, heh.

Warning:  We cannot be held responsible for what may or may not happen to the miner who digs through warm stone.  If you have another mining job for them somewhere else they'll usually get out before they die.

I'm pretty sure you can't dig through warm stone. You have to find the blue metal first. Which is pretty awesome stuff.

Oh, that warm stone.

I feel like now would be a good time to mention there is a wiki, if no-one else has. Spoilers (what few there are) are clearly labeled so don't worry about that.

lol

I have a plan for how to deal with magma actually, which may arguably be cheating depending on how you view fun.

I want to follow the warm stone up and then simpyly dig a channel down in a safe spot, and use the 1x3 magma pump system to pump magma to a reservoir for my magma workshops.
