You go into the smelter from the 'q'uery menu, and 'a'dd a smelting job.  You need fuel and ore for it to work.

Erm, can you upload another save, Chevaux? I downloaded the one in your post twice and neither worked. And yes, I unzipped it and dropped it into my DF/data/save folder.

It's 31.25, but not vanilla.  I modded in a few things; I didn't realize it would be a problem.  Cheveux, did any of this happen to you?

I never had any crash, I started the save on a freshly download version of DF. I did change my tileset, but I don't think it has something to do with the save.

I (think I) recognize some of those errors from when I "upgraded" a 31.16 (?) race to 31.18. However, the others...

Since no-one can figure out WTH is up with the crashing and the inability to use my copy, and I don't want to slow you guys down, I regretfully suppose it should be time for the next guy to take the save. Unless there is no next guy,in which case we're SOL.

Okay, sorry you couldn't get to play.  I PM'd XhAPPYSLApX, so he can take his turn.  We're going to be out of luck if he has to skip, though, since we don't have anyone else on the turn list.  GreatWyrmGold, keep trying to get it working.  If you succeed, I'll put you back on the turn list.
