Urist McCleaver cancelled Butcher Corpse: Interrupted by Corpse.

I'm expecting someone to mod in a crematorium immediately, which takes your common un-butherables like goblins and elves, and destroys the corpse

Don't some mods already have crematoriums in them?

Why wouldn't you just

With a garbage dump?

Even if they get raised, they can never get out.

It deconstructs like any other "furniture" and the corpse drops out, que ghost.
Indeed. However, if you've got a magma-safe cage with a corpse inside, then you can drop it in magma without damaging the cage; as long as the cage is intact, so is the content.

If you're planning to cage all your dwarves shortly before death...

Either way, I plan to make a zombie moat.  Magma moats are expensive, and cost lives.  Zombie moats are cheap, and cost MORE likves!

Hopefully you're butchering each of those. Batmen would be a small problem though.

Sure, it's inconvenient. And time-draining. And cruel. And there are more optimized ways to deal with corpses.
Therefore, it is dwarfy.
You can't argue with that!

It's also fairly impossible to purposefully cage a dwarf.

Assign the dwarf twenty war dogs and promptly murder them. Let him tantrum and then have him arrested.

Indeed.

If you lock him in a room coated with cage traps you can manage it.

Or dolomite toy boats. Might crack a gobbo skull (or spine) or two.
